Hard days of the forty-first or Heroes of the invisible front: part two
lyubitelfilmov19 November 2021
Military adventures. Continuation of the serial trilogy "Military Intelligence", about the group of Major Pavlovsky, who perform tasks in 1941. And since I told you about the first season, called "Northern Front", then why not tell you about the sequels that did not fall in quality? I don't mind either. And here's my brief opinion for you - The hard days of the forty-first. There are absolute pros and cons in the series, which also deserve attention. With this, let me finish such a brief introduction, and get to the point.

So, the absolute advantages: 1. The script - series is again focused on a group of scouts: Major Pavlovsky, Lieutenant Sushkevich and Lieutenant Teneshev, who will have to perform a number of extremely difficult and dangerous tasks in 1941. Right at the very beginning of the Great Patriotic War, when Germany invaded our land. The execution of tasks is complicated by the situation at the front, which is the hardest for the Red Army. The tasks are difficult this time, and each time our heroes have a high chance of not returning. But the Motherland demands, which means that the scout must complete the task. The scenario as a whole, and in almost all the little things, does not cause complaints. Everything is very realistic, exciting, emotional, and most importantly, it is extremely interesting to watch and worry about the heroes, because the Germans are shown to be extremely cunning and dangerous opponents, real professionals who perform their tasks, well, destroy the population, and show their "new order". One task I particularly remember is the return of our resident back to the German rear. The elaboration and quality of the script remained at a high level. Minor characters are also perfectly spelled out.

2. Tasks - I don't want to reveal them too much, so as not to spoil the impression for those viewers who haven't seen the series yet. It's just that the basis for the tasks was clearly taken from the real events of the Great Patriotic War. Maybe the creators were even allowed to visit the closed archives of the FSB of Russia. I will also say that each task is worthy of the time allocated for it.

3. Scenery and costumes - apparently the scenery was the real places of the war, because the factories, the area, the whole environment and household items clearly smack of that era. Well, the uniforms of the Wehrmacht, SS, SD, Red Army and NKVD troops were not worth worrying about at all. Everything is authentic and looks great, since we often shoot movies and TV series about the war.

4. Music - it has remained almost unchanged, as in the "Northern Front", only a number of new compositions have been added, which fit perfectly here, well, the main theme has not gone away.

5. Difficulties of the forty-first - as I have already said, the scouts will have to perform tasks at the beginning of the war. There is a minimum of time to prepare, a minimum of information, and the failure of the operation threatens the death of not only the heroes, but also the top intelligence staff. What can I say if the immediate commander of Pavlovsky himself, Lieutenant Colonel Korneev, in the magnificent performance of Boris Shcherbakov, participates in the storming of advanced German positions, where a German bullet can hook him at any moment. The front line is extremely unstable, because the German is rushing like a tank, and sweeps away our defenses, despite heroic resistance. Therefore, at this moment, the success of the operation depends on the intelligence and intelligence of our scouts.

6. Emotions - losses, losses of soldiers and commanders, messengers, assistants, residents, underground workers. All this feels more acute than ever. After all, it is simply impossible to complete the task without these people, and we will never know their names.

7. Humor - there is much less of it this time, because the situation is difficult, you know. But he found the time. It is appropriate here, and it dilutes the heavy front-line everyday life well.

So, the cons: 1. Crumpling - it concerns the completion of one of the tasks, when its finale turned out to be too fast, you can even say lightning fast. Why the logic of the script suffered. This is striking, because the script and logic are otherwise good.

2. Budget - it is clear that the series does not have enough money for high-quality effects and scenes of fights and shootouts. Although even here everything is saved by the charisma of the actors, even ours, who play Germans. And they speak without a Russian accent.

A little about the main characters: 1. Major Klim Pavlovsky, played by Pavel Trubiner, is an experienced group commander who has to do the most difficult work and make the most important decisions. A real specialist, and it's better not to mess with him. Pavel is absolutely in his place in this role.

2. Lieutenant Mikhas Sushkevich performed by Philip Azarov is a Belarusian boy, originally from the village. A simple-minded, but smart scout who will always cover a friend in a difficult moment. Philip is well done! One of my favorite characters of the entire serial trilogy.

3. Lieutenant Alexey Teneshev, played by Stepan Beketov, is a Moscow intellectual who got into intelligence before the Winter War (well, you remember that anyway). A smart and intelligent guy who has already become an experienced scout. Stepan coped with the role perfectly!

It remains to consider only the "Western Front" and say goodbye to our beloved scouts!

As a result, we have a good military adventure series, with a good and well-developed script, excellent music and atmosphere, and good acting.

My rating is 8 out of 10 and my recommendation for viewing!
