The fast-moving end credits are the actual credits of the short. Slowed down, they reveal that each of the 67 actors that appear play characters with actual names. Only eight of the names are not variations on "Cook" and some of those are related synonyms, like "Bake," "Broil," and "Simmer."
Most of the names displayed in the short are for the the real names of the actors. The obvious exception is "Lars von Trier as Pie." For characters seen in the animated segment or only shown as body parts, the names are the real names of various crew members involved with the short, e.g. Aimee Holmberg and Paul Painter.
Each character has a name, but not one is said on screen.
The opening theme lasts 10 minutes and 46 seconds, while the "episode" itself only lasts 6 seconds.
According to director Casper Kelly, he conveyed the concept of the short to his Squidbillies (2005) writer-producer friend Jim Fortier, who in turn described it to Adult Swim executive Mike Lazzo, who loved the idea. The footage was filmed over a period of three days in October 2013 with a cast completely composed of extras from the Atlanta area. Post-production took a year, with Kelly recruiting friends and co-workers to help with the process.
