Pete's new attitude of embracing his Rear D duties is challenged by the husband of a deployed soldier. When things go too far, Pete must make amends. Meanwhile, Cody enlists Jill's help with a private matter.
Despite general ridicule, especially from his brothers, Pete convinces the rest of his platoon to 'cheerfully' work their tail off in sissy Rodney Spratz's base home and on building 'with' him a 'sports course' for his son Tim, who respects nobody while his mother is deployed in action.
