Exclusive: Jessica Chastain, Brendan Fraser and Bryan Cranston have joined Al Pacino in the mystery thriller Assassination. The film will be directed by Barry Levinson from a script by David Mamet, Levinson and Sam Bromell.
The film offers up a new take on the JFK conspiracy, centering around Kilgallen (Chastain), one of the most famous voices in media at the time. When she suspects that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone, she uses her fame and influence to find President John F. Kennedy’s real killer. Part murder mystery, part film noir, Kilgallen’s journey will put her up against the CIA, mafia bosses and the FBI, all who would love nothing more than to make her and this story disappear.
“Dorothy Kilgallen was the first female crime reporter in America. She was the only woman to ever cover the JFK case. The only reporter to speak with Jack Ruby.

A new week is here, and so is November! When did that happen? But before we get to Thanksgiving, Netflix has a few movies and shows they are adding to their lineup this week, including a new season of a Netflix Original, a new documentary, and a comedy crime series.
First up is The Diplomat! Season 2 is hitting Netflix on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, and this season will start where last season left off. A bomb had just gone off, possibly injuring Kate's husband and staff, so we will likely get to see how everyone is recovering/who didn't survive. That will probably be most of the first episodes. Kate is also being looked at for the office of the Vice President, whether she likes it or not. And with Allison Janney as the current Vice President, things are sure to get sticky.
Take a look at the trailer here:
This week also brings Martha!

This is a quick guide on how to defeat Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This unique boss is optional and can be found inside the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.
Count Ymir is arguably among the easier bosses in the latest expansion, and here is a quick and efficient way to mow down this optional boss battle.
How to Defeat Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers Count Ymir is not as tough as he looks with the proper equipment.
The Elden Ring Dlc rivals the content featured in the base game but is much shorter, depending on how well or fast you move through this massive expansion. The expansion is stocked with side content and Count Ymir is one of them; however, he isn’t exactly the menace many thought he would be.

We may only be two episodes into High Potential, but Kaitlin Olson and ABC have a certified hit on their hands!
I am not usually a procedural kind of guy. However, this show is making me reevaluate my interests! Miss Morgan is a whole vibe, and despite her eccentric nature, I feel like I know people like her — including people with a wealth of random knowledge.
High Potential has proven that it’s a series with enough potential to last for years. Interestingly, I’ve heard it both ways about this show. Some people were hooked instantly and loved it. Others didn’t find the character relatable and took issue with a few aspects of the show.

I am here to tell you that I heard you, and there are things I can agree with from both camps.

Some of General Hospital‘s latest cast additions come from the land of primetime and streaming television. For example, Adam J. Harrington, who, until recently, played Agent Cates, is best known for starring on The CW’s The Secret Circle, Supernatural, and Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer. Charles Mesure’s recent credits include Syfy’s The Magicians, ABC’s Once Upon a Time, and Desperate Housewives. Take the actor who currently plays the villainous crime lord keeping Lucky hostage in East Africa. Carlo Rota has appeared in numerous TV and film projects. In fact, we’re betting you’ve seen him plenty of times before.
Bad Guy Backstory
Since Jonathan Jackson’s return to Gh, Lucky Spencer’s character has been holed up in a tiny room somewhere in Somalia. His go-to method of distraction is playing poker opposite the crime lord, who keeps coming up with reasons not to kill his hostage.

Although the recently released Deadpool & Wolverine seems to have given the Marvel Cinematic Universe the perfect boost it needed to get back on fans’ good side, there are still a lot of unanswered questions that need to be resolved. And while the frozen half-peaking head and hand of Tiamut from Eternals was one thing, it isn’t the only one Kevin Feige has yet to address.
Tiamut in Eternals. (2021) | Credits: Marvel Studios.
For instance, there’s a very interesting aspect of Tom Holland’s debut MCU movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, that the studios are yet to explain and continue the storyline of. The scene in talk is the end credits scene which featured a rather uncanny cameo of someone who confronts Michael Keaton’s Vulture as yet another nemesis of the fan-favorite web-slinger: Scorpion.

What's the easiest way to have your hero and villain team-up? Introduce a new, even worse villain who can only be defeated by combining forces. "Star Trek: Voyager" did such a move in "Scorpion," its two-part season 3 finale/season 4 premiere where our heroes teamed up with, of all races, the rapacious hive-minded Borg. Before then, the Borg had never been anything but terrifying villains.
Context: "Voyager" follows the crew of the eponymous starship, whose name becomes meaningful when it's flung halfway across the galaxy. To get home, Voyager will inevitably have to trek through Borg space. By their luck, when they finally get there, the Borg have bigger fish to fry: Species 8472, an interdimensional race who got a little peeved when the Borg invaded their home dimension and now want to wipe out the entire Milky Way.
Voyager develops a countermeasure against the invaders and trades it for safe passage through Borg space.

The latest game in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat 1, introduced the concept of Kameo Fighters. This gameplay mechanic allows players to select an additional character who will provide an assist during fights. There is a long list of Kameo characters that players can choose from but there is one character that the community hates: Kano.
A popular Mortal Kombat streamer, LOSTyGIRL, recently shared a clip from an online Mortal Kombat 1 game where a toxic player used Kano as a Kameo character, clearly proving that only cheap players like to pick this character. Kano has made an appearance in almost every major Mortal Kombat video game and it’s safe to say that many players are tired of seeing his face.

Are Kendrick Lamar and Drake just going to keep dissing each other for the rest of their lives? Probably, yes. So here we go with another beef that began after the Canadian rapper dropped a seven-and-a-half-minute track Family Matters, in response to Lamar’s 6:16 in LA, which led the latter to have his last laugh with a new song Meet the Grahams.

After Drake fired shots at Kendrick Lamar with Family Matters, where he accused the rapper of fathering a child that isn’t biologically his, Lamar released Meet the Grahams. In his new track, Lamar alleged Drake was hiding a daughter that the world does not know about. Following K.Dot’s latest diss track, the God’s Plan singer broke his silence over the Crompton rapper’s allegations.

From Geena Davis and Jamie Lee Curtis, to blaxploitation royalty Pam Grier; Joe Dante and Roland Emmerich, to genre legend Peter Hyams topping the bill – 2024’s Forbidden Worlds Film Festival promises the biggest (and maddest) year yet for genre fans in the South West.

Before entering the DC franchise as Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson had many successful action films under his belt. The former WWE champion-turned-actor featured in films like San Andreas and Rampage apart from being a pivotal presence in The Fast and the Furious franchise. However, apart from this popular film series, The Rock’s other films have surprisingly not expanded into sequels.

Johnson’s producing partner Hiram Garcia attempted to explain the reasons behind this back in 2022. It appeared from Garcia’s revelations that The Scorpion King star’s commitment to DC and his character Black Adam could have been the deciding factor behind a film like Rampage not getting the greenlight for a sequel. While character details and airdate are not yet known, “The Bold and the Beautiful” actor Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester) is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the CBS drama series “S.W.A.T.,” starring “The Young and the Restless” alum Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm Winters).
On Instagram, de Metz shared a behind-the-scenes photo of himself and Moore, captioning the post, “I had a great time getting the sh*t kicked out of me by big bro @shemarfmoore during my guest star on @swatcbs ! This character was a big departure from the roles I typically play and shows me in a wildly different light.”
Even before joining “The Bold and the Beautiful” in 2020 as Zende Forrester, de Metz had an extensive primetime resume, including roles in such shows as “State of Georgia,” “Teen Wolf,” “Girl Meets World,” “ Castle,” “Zoo,” Scorpion,” “ NCIS” and “ NCIS: Los Angeles,” among others. Halloween Ends may have killed iconic slasher Michael Myers off on the big screen, but there’s really no stopping a successful horror franchise. Last October, Malek Akkad’s Trancas International Films secured a deal with Miramax Television to develop and co-produce a Halloween TV series… and one person who would be interested in working on the show is Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers director Dwight H. Little, who has racked up a lot of TV experience since his days of working on Halloween 4. There’s also another Halloween project Little would like to work on and has even pitched: a direct sequel to Halloween 4 that would see the return of Danielle Harris and Ellie Cornell as Jamie and her foster sister Rachel!
The subject of Halloween came up while Little was speaking with our friends at Bloody Disgusting to promote his memoir Still Rolling: Inside the Hollywood...

It comes as no surprise that Drake‘s new album “For All the Dogs” debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200. It’s his 13th number-one album on the chart, which places him third on the list of the most chart-toppers ever, behind only The Beatles (19) and Jay-Z (14). Taylor Swift is close behind with 12, but she’s likely to tie Drake again when she releases her re-recorded “1989” later this month. Read more about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
Despite mixed reviews, “For All the Dogs” achieved 402,000 equivalent album units based on its combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams. But really, it was almost all streaming that did it. 391,000 units came from streaming, which equates to 514.01 million streams of the album’s 23 tracks. That’s the biggest streaming week of the year and the fourth biggest week ever. Drake actually accounts for four of the top five streaming weeks of all-time,...

When he's not churning out his next musical project, Drake is busy on dad duty - and sometimes music and dad duty mix. That much is evident on the father of one's latest album, "For All the Dogs," on which his 5-year-old son Adonis features on the song "Daylight."
When the father-son duo aren't making magic in the studio, they love sitting courtside. In December 2022, the father-son duo were spotted at a Toronto Raptors (Drake's favorite basketball team) vs. Los Angeles Clippers game in December. The pair seem to frequent their fair share of NBA games together, and it's always an adorable sight.
Speculation over whether or not Drake had become a dad swirled via his highly publicized feud with Pusha T before he eventually verified the rumors in the summer of 2018. The rapper, who shares his son with artist Sophie Brussaux, confirmed the news in the most appropriate way he knows how: through song.

Rapper Travis Scott holds on to number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chart once more. His “Utopia” maintains its position on top for the fourth week in a row for the tracking week that ended August 24. That makes this his longest-running number-one album, besting the three weeks his “Astroworld” spent at the summit. Read more about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
“Utopia” achieved another 161,000 equivalent album units based on its combined album sales, individual track sales, and online streams. Once again, much of its success was due to vinyl sales thanks to a steep discount through Scott’s web store. As a result, “Utopia” is the first rap album since Drake‘s “Scorpion” in 2018 to spend its first four weeks at number-one.

Los Angeles, July 23 (Ians) Grammy winning-rapper Drake revealed that he likes girls who like “cosplay,” but when being asked what he liked them to “dress up as,” the rapper said, “No, I don’t need them to (dress up).”
“I probably will f*** with them more if they are into cosplay. Not with me, just like generally,” he added, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Drake, however, is dismissing marriage as a concept from “ancient times or something.”
The five-time Grammy winner, 36, has been linked to a string of A-listers including Rashida Jones, Tyra Banks, Julia Fox, and Rihanna, and has finally revealed why he has never tied the knot.
He told The Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff about his view on marriage: “I don’t know. It seems like a thing of, like, ancient times or something. I think I will eventually. I don’t know, I don’t think I...

Drake is finding himself under the covers with TikTok star Bobbi Althoff.
Drizzy, who is currently travelling across North America with 21 Savage on their It’s All a Blur tour, found time to get into the bedroom with the content creator and the outcome was certainly interesting.
“I don’t know any other questions,” she dryly tells Drake in the preview. “Do you have any other questions?”
Drake delivers a quip back to her while holding onto a cocktail. “Not really; it’s probably best you skedaddle home to be mother of the year, right?”

Lil Uzi Vert and their new album Pink Tape could finally bring hip-hop its first Billboard Number One album of 2023 next week — a rare delay for the genre, which has gone more than half the year without topping the chart. The streak has been one of the bigger talking points among hip-hop heads and industry onlookers this year as they ponder what’s going on.

Industrial act 3Teeth have announced a new album, EndEx, arriving September 22nd via Century Media. The band’s fourth LP promises to be “their most raucous yet, unveiling bold revelations of humanity’s technosocial disintegration behind a brutal soundtrack that sounds all the alarms,” according to a release.
Fans have already been treated to a few singles off the set, including “Paralyze” (featuring Ho99o9), “Merchant of the Void,” and “Slum Planet.”
Now, on top of the album news, 3Teeth have shared “Scorpion” as the LP’s latest single. The track features an epic combination of industrial instrumentals and haunting female vocal chants. An accompanying music video was directed by Vicente Cordero and 3Teeth frontman Alexis Mincolla.
“The scorpion symbolizes the challenge to confront and integrate those parts of ourselves that we repress, ignore, or fear,” Mincolla said in a statement. “It invites a descent into the depths of the personal and collective unconscious.

Get to the chopper — or better yet — to Netflix.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back with a trailer for “Fubar,” Netflix’s upcoming spy-adventure series starring the former Governator and “Top Gun: Maverick” actor Monica Barbaro.
The show follows father and daughter CIA operatives Luke (Schwarzenegger) and Emma Brunner (Barbaro) who discover they lived their entire lives unaware that the other was also part of the secretive agency. Just when he thought he was out, Luke gets pulled back in for one last job, but this time with his daughter. The series will have eight episodes.
The first teaser, released on Feb. 27, revealed that Schwarzenegger had yet to leave behind his one-liners and stogies, along with his love for action stories. “Fubar” shares some of the spy dramedy qualities of Schwarzenegger’s 1994 film “True Lies” with Jamie Lee Curtis. And while the show adds yet another action role to Schwarzeneggers large repertoire,...

In the episode of "The Ren & Stimpy Show" called "Space Madness", the feckless young space cadet Stimpy (Billy West) is charged with guarding a mysterious button called the History Eraser Button. No one knows what the History Eraser Button does, but Stimpy is immediately intrigued. He paces, looking at the button, sweating nervously. He wants to push the button. An announcer begins to dictate Stimpy's temptation. Will he push the beautiful, shiny button? The button that, even now, beckons him ever closer? Stimpy breaks down, wails that he cannot help himself, and pushes the button. History is erased and all the characters immediately cease to be. The end.

Few records in the last 10 years have been as critically acclaimed as Kacey Musgraves’s fourth studio album, “Golden Hour.” The 2018 release reached new heights for the singer-songwriter, earning an impressive 89 score on Metacritic and being labeled one of the greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone. Acclaim wasn’t particularly new for Musgraves, who had received raves for her debut, “Same Trailer Different Park.” However, “Golden Hour” made an even greater impact in the popular consciousness, especially with its more pop-oriented sound. It culminated in one of the biggest honors in music: the Grammy for Album of the Year. In honor of the album’s fifth anniversary, let’s take a look back at how the win reflected some important trends that we can still see today in Grammy voting, and just how strong a contender “Golden Hour” had to be to achieve it.

“Star Trek: Picard” Season 3 is finally here and boy, is it a trip down memory lane.
This season, touted as the “final voyage,” reunites Jean-Luc Picard with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Their adventures were chronicled in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” which ran for seven seasons from 1987 to 1994. The last time the cast shared the screen was in the 2002 feature film “Star Trek: Nemesis.”
The newest season of “Picard” picks up some 20+ years later, with Picard (Patrick Stewart) assembling his old crew to save one of their own.

"I'm back, baby." Netflix has revealed a first look teaser for a series called Fubar, a spy comedy thriller from TV creator Nick Santora. So This is pretty much Arnold's continuation of Cameron's True Lies, even though they already made a True Lies sequel series (this one) and apparently it's no good. Fubar is a global spy adventure with a father and daughter at the center of the story. Schwarzenegger explains: "Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies. Well, here it is. Fubar will kick your ass and make you laugh - and not just for two hours. You get a whole season." Sounds good, I guess? We'll find out soon enough. Fubar stars Arnold, along with Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Barbara Eve Harris, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, and Jay Baruchel.

This post contains spoilers for "Star Trek: Picard" season 3, episode 1, "The Next Generation."
Season 3 of "Picard" isn't just a "Star Trek: The Next Generation" reunion. It's also an ex-Borg reunion, with Jeri Ryan's fan-favorite "Picard" and "Star Trek: Voyager" character, Seven of Nine, joining the former Locutus, Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) himself, as she did last season.
Seven of Nine has come a long way since she first appeared in the "Scorpion" two-parter on "Voyager" back in 1997. When Picard catches up with her again in season 3 of his show, Seven is now the commander of the USS Titan. That isn't all it's cracked up to be, as it sees Seven answering to the pompous Captain Liam Shaw (Todd Stashwick). Under Shaw, she's also forced to answer to her human name, Annika Hansen, while constantly biting her tongue as her Starfleet superior talks down to her.

President Joe Biden’s second State of the Union address emphasized bipartisanship again and again. But while he may or not have achieved it, Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema certainly did when she brought Americans of all stripes together to make fun of her outfit.
Now Sinema, the once-Democratic Senator who ostentatiously re-registered as an independent last November, has been frequently called out for what critics say is attention-seeking behavior. But she may have outdone herself with her State of the Union look: An extremely bright yellow dress with huge, extremely frilly sleeves that had people comparing her to everything from Big Bird to a Teletubby.
One user said Sinema skinned Big Bird to get her outfit.

ABC‘s newest drama series Will Trent revolves around a controversial Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent who isn’t too popular among other law enforcement officers. But the detective that Will Trent clashes with the most is Michael Ormewood, played by Jake McLaughlin.

The Will Trent series premiere makes it clear that the audience isn’t supposed to like Jake McLaughlin’s Ormewood when they first meet him. He is brash, stubborn, ignorant, and abrasive. Ormewood takes advantage of his power as a detective with the Atlanta Police Department and regularly threatens and intimidates suspects and witnesses.
During the pilot, Ormewood doesn’t hold his hatred for Will back. As fans came to find out, Will previously worked on a case that outed numerous crooked cops, and many other officers dislike him for “betraying their own.

Drake and his 5-year-old son, Adonis, had an adorable outing at a Toronto Raptors game on Dec. 27. The duo sat courtside at the game and were all smiles as they watched their beloved team take on the LA Clippers. The Clippers were ultimately victorious, but it didn't put a damper on their good time. During the game, the Raptors mascot, known simply as The Raptor, brought over a table filled with candy for Adonis and let him pick whatever he wanted, much to Adonis's delight.

When he's not churning out his next musical project, Drake is busy on dad duty. That much is evident in new photos of him and his 5-year-old son Adonis Graham sitting courtside at a Dec. 7 Los Angeles Lakers vs. Toronto Raptors game. The father-son duo frequent their fair share of NBA games together and it's always an adorable sight to see.
Speculation over whether or not Drake had become a dad swirled before he verified the rumors in 2018. The father of one, who shares his son with artist Sophie Brussaux, confirmed the news in the most appropriate way he knows how: through song. "Look at the way we live / I wasn't hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid," Drake raps on "Emotionless," the fourth track on his 2018 album, "Scorpion." He also addressed fatherhood again on the last track of that album, "March 14," which...

Drake joined forces with fellow rapper 21 Savage on their new collaborative album “Her Loss,” but it turned out to be a loss for neither artist. It debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Read more about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
“Her Loss” launched at number-one with 404,000 equivalent album units based on its combined album sales, individual track sales, and online streams. As is typical for hip-hop, streaming made up the vast majority of those units, compared to 12,000 from traditional album sales and just 1,000 from track sales. Those streaming numbers are good enough to make this the fourth biggest streaming week in history, behind Drake’s own “Scorpion” and “Certified Lover Boy” and Taylor Swift‘s recent chart-topper “Midnights.” It’s also the third most album units in a week this year, behind “Midnights” and Harry Styles‘s “Harry’s House.”
