Hank wants to know how Sarah got the interview for the photography job. Sarah tells him it was Carl. Sarah asks Hank to team up on the job with the provision that she is the boss. Drew's roommate wonders that Amy hasn't told her parents that she has dropped out of school and is living with Drew. Zeek tells Camille he is okay with selling the house. Joel tells Julia that he is moving out. Sydney begs him not to.
NOW
Julia has packed overnight backpacks for Victor and Sydney to spend the weekend at their dad's. It's awkward with Julia when Joel comes to pick up the kids.
A real estate agent looking for Zeek and Camille finds Crosby at the house instead. He is surprised they are listing the house.
Drew is somewhat frustrated that Amy is tagging around with him as he heads to class. She says she will grab a coffee and meet him after class.
Joel shows off the apartment to the kids. He has it decked out for the kids including an X-Box (which Victor loves), Rainbow Loom (which Sydney claims she has outgrown), bunk beds, and a pool (for which Joel has purchased swimsuits).

Adam and Christina are in a hot tub at a cabin in Mendocino. Christina loves their relaxing spa weekend. Adam runs off to make a call to Julia. She tells him she is okay and is ready to have a relaxing weekend. She worries that Adam is wearing his "old man" trunks. Adam gets back in the hot tub and takes off his trunks. Christina throws them out of the tub.
Hank is looking over Sarah's photos from their photo shoot. Hank doesn't like the pictures they took of their surfer model posing in front of a taco truck, that the truck ruins the composition. She likes them. He is a little frustrated when Sarah has to leave for a dinner date with Carl (she doesn't call it a date, he wonders about her choice of lipstick).
Drew sees Natalie in the hall and she asks about Amy's continued presence.
At family dinner, Crosby mentions the agent's visit. Camille explains that it is THEIR house and they can do what they want with it. Zeek looks at Crosby stoically.
At a Mexican restaurant, Carl laughs at a story Sarah is telling. Carl took her to this restaurant because he liked the pictures she took of the taco truck. Carl tells her he likes being with her.
Julia, alone in the house, in her bed, cannot sleep. She goes to sleep on Sydney's bed.
In the morning, Julia is talking to Sarah on the phone and tells her she wound up sleeping in Sydney's bed. Sarah asks if she wants to get together later.
Drew tells Amber about Amy. She is surprised, and Drew says he loves Amy and just wants her to go back to school. Amber tells him its hard when you love somebody and want them to go.
At the studio, Hank asks if her choice of lipstick was successful. Sarah goes through her pictures and sees that Hank has photoshopped-out the taco truck in all of them. She admits that most look better, but she accuses him of taking out his frustration re Carl on their work.
In individual mud baths, Christina thanks Adam for going through everything with her. He says she doesn't have to.
Crosby is incredulous that Zeek doesn't oppose the sale of the house. Zeek tells him that when Camille went on the European trip, he was alone in the house and missed her. He says if selling the house would make her happy, he doesn't mind.
Adam and Christina are on a hike. He stops to text Julia. Christina suggests they've had a good weekend already and it's probably time to go home.
Hank sees the Aspergers psychiatrist and tells him he has problems with Sarah. The doctor tells him that's not an "emergency" like he had called about. As Hank takes a text, the psychiatrist says Hank should communicate better. Hank asks what he should say to fix things with Sarah, and promises not to use the psychiatrist's exact words when doing so.
Over pizza dinner, Joel makes plans for the rest of the weekend. Sydney is surprised that they will be there ALL weekend and says she wants to go home.
Hank visits Sarah who is just coming out of the shower. He insists they talk and he apologizes to her, keeping eye contact, and repeating what the doctor said. Sarah notices his odd behavior and Hank apologizes in his own words, mentioning the book that Adam gave him about Aspergers. Hank says he hasn't been good with Sarah and will try to do better.
Drew tells Amy he loves her but she can't stay. He asks if she's spoken to anyone about what happened last year; he spoke to Sarah and feels much better about things.
Julia, alone at home again, gets a text and goes to the door. It's Sarah with a bottle of wine and Chinese food. Crosby comes by with a bottle of cheaper wine and Thai food. Sarah and Crosby whisper to each other that they are a great brother/sister to Julia. Julia says she feels like the family black sheep and Sarah and Crosby laugh and point at each other. Adam shows up. Julia, a little drunk, starts crying about how they all thought to come over. With happy music playing, they dance around the living room.
Drew has taken Amy home. She doesn't know what to say to her parents but Drew insists they will understand. They kiss; she says goodbye.
The family roasts marshmallows at Zeek and Camille's house. Drew comes by and sits with Amber.
Victor wakes up to strange apartment building noises and notices Sydney is not in her bunk. He goes to Joel's room and finds her asleep next to their dad. Victor takes Joel's phone and calls Julia and tells her about the noises. She is happy Victor has called and she tells him about how in their old house when they were kids, the creaky stairs used to scare them. As she walks through the house, reassuring Victor, and we see Sarah, Crosby and Adam have stayed over. Victor has fallen asleep on the phone. Julia goes to sleep in the sofa opposite Adam.
NEXT
Christina and Adam visit the oncologist. Sarah and Carl sleep together. The psychiatrist tells Hank to be honest with Sarah. Hank tells Sarah he wants to talk to her.
