With the show in decline it's perhaps not surprising that they tried to revert back to things that had worked previously.
So the 'classic' story template of a character over promising on a deal, having to put it right, before being given sage wisdom by Simon is reinstated.
We also get Josh Groban back, who is good fun, and it's a shame that the show didn't explore celebs appearing as hammed up versions of themselves a little more.
It's sad that later episodes seemed to do away with Simon and Sydney storylines too - the whole 'father and daughter working together' element that was so key at the start of the series has now been almost forgotten.
A decent episode overall.
