I was so thrilled to finally see Vincent's humanity returning and to see much more character development with this episode. There was definitely a sense that Vincent is seeing a path away from Tori and that he recognizes that his choices have brought him to a place he is not overly excited about. And also to recognize that he does want to be near Catherine, even if he thinks she would be better off without him. By far, Nina Lisandrello was the best in this episode, she was funny, and quick, and communicated her fear and joy very well. Wish we could have seen Tess have a fun birthday, all these characters really do need to have a day of some lighthearted fun at least once! Jay Ryan without a doubt has demonstrated over and over again his strength with acting, communicating thoughts and emotions without having to say a word. Only thing missing was our favorite JT but understandable in this episode. Great job by Pamela Sue Anton!

I loved this episode, it had everything!!! I don't know how I feel about the makers splitting up the delectable Vincent and Catherine partnership but I can see it's an interesting arc to explore. Vincent's character is being fleshed out and he has many layers to explore... It's probably my favourite exposure so far... I'm new to this series in 2020 but I'm really enjoying it. I was also a huge fan of the original in 1987!
