Stays on the Rails
Hitchcoc30 October 2021
Two plots. It's Valentine's day and Sheldon, Amy, Bernie, and Howard take a trip on a vintage train. But things are really tense when Sheldon meets a guy who knows trains after a heavy box fell on his head. Penny Leonard take care of Raj's dog and end up at the vet. Fair episode.

Raj is introduced to his new love on this Valentine Day episode
Ed-Shullivan6 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
My wife and I have been wishing that Raj would soon find the love of his life and on what better episode than for Valentines Day. Tanya Raymonde plays Yvette the Vet(erinarian), who takes care of Raj's little dog Precious who becomes ill after eating most of the box of chocolates that Penny gave to Leonard for Valentines Day. Penny and Leonard agreed to babysit Precious for Raj, and shortly thereafter retired to the bedroom leaving Precious alone with an open box of chocolates. Meanwhile Amy arranges a TOO PERFECT vintage train ride for Sheldon, when they are seated next to another vintage train geek. Howard and his wife Bernadette are along for the romantic train ride and reacquaint their romantic connection much to the chagrin of lonely Amy whilst Sheldon goes cabin hopping with his new found friend the vintage train geek.

All love is not lost though when Sheldon embraces Amy with a passionate and extended kiss, and Raj gets Yvette the vet's phone number with a cute little note to call anytime.

Sheldon and Amy have a moment in "The Locomotive Manipulation" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"

Warning: Spoilers
With today being Valentine's Day, I finally watched this ep of "The Big Bang Theory" that takes place on this holiday. In order to ensure they both have fun, Amy booked her and Sheldon (and Howard and Bernadette) on a vintage train. However, once there, Sheldon meets a train fanatic and converses with him during most of the trip, to the consternation of everyone else especially Amy. Meanwhile, since Leonard and Penny decide to stay at home, Raj asks them to look after his dog, Cinnamon, while he decides to go star gazing. When those two decide to make love, they leave Cinnamon alone...so when they're done, they find out she ate most of the box of chocolates which may prove fatal so they quickly go to a veterinarian. When Raj arrives, he's very upset at them but since the female vet seems to take an interest in him and the dog seems all right, that feeling doesn't last long. I'll stop there and just say that this was another hilarious ep and when that moment arrives between Sheldon and Amy...well, it's one for the books, that's for sure! So on that note, "The Locomotive Manipulation" may become one of the most discussed eps of "The Big Bang Theory" ever!

Sheldon is not so smart.

He just doesn't understand romance.

How can you claim to be a genius and not know that travelling on a chain with girlfriend on Valentine's Day is not romantic. Why spend the whole time with some weirdo on the train.

He finally gets it at the end. Any other girl would of left his ass on the train with his new friend and went home. Amy has a lot of patience.

Let's all have a laugh at the guys with learning difficulties!

Warning: Spoilers
Much as I love The Bing Bang Theory, I find this episode hard to watch. That's because of the way Howard, Bernadette, Amy and a waiter all sneer at Sheldon's new friend Eric. He is another train enthusiast who has suffered a brain injury. So it doesn't seem right for them to be unkind to him, especially given that Sheldon clearly enjoys Eric's company. I was hoping that one of Eric's family, who whom he had been accidentally separated, would find him and thank the gang for befriending him. That would have been heart-warming ending. Instead, Eric was just used as another way of making Sheldon took strange. Let's all have a laugh at the guys with learning difficulties!
