Yes, I cried

Warning: Spoilers
I started with Warehouse 13 after seeing Eureka and that although not brilliant was a bit of fun. With this series it took me a little while to really fall in love with the main characters, so when the end came I was a bit surprised at how hard that hit me.

First of all though, why on earth did they cut the season to six episodes? The stories were always fun, I loved Claudia, Steve and Artie the most, but I could sense a bit of writers truth in the final story, I do not think that even they wanted it to end.

Every actor in this episode played their part beautifully and most moving of all was the character played by Aaron Ashmore, who I genuinely believed had tears in his eyes when viewing the memories of Mrs Frederic, played by CCH Pounder.

There is a real humanity to the actor Saul Rubinek, I have seen him play several less than savoury characters with equal diligence, but it was with this final episode that I wished that I could spend some more time with Artie and his team. Even the intimate moments with Pete played by Eddie McClintock and Myka played by Joanne Kelly were nicely done, if a little rushed due to running out of time.

The final scene of Claudia played by Allison Scagliotti is a neat finish to the series, but it still leaves that feeling that the end was rushed and this is deeply unfair to us viewers who had genuinely fallen in love with this cast and invested time in the series that lead to this point.

I am lucky in that I have the DVD box set of all five seasons, but it will always feel a shame to me that they ended the series so suddenly, especially after the fantastic season four. Maybe they wanted to leave on a high point so that they would always have those loving memories of the fans and a high point it was, the tears that streaked my face proved this. I am deeply sorry to see this go because I loved the characters HG, Steve, Claudia and Artie, they felt like family and I actually miss them now!

A massive well done to the cast and crew behind Warehouse 13, your efforts were appreciated.

A wonderful ending

Warning: Spoilers
This episode I give a 10, the series as a whole probably an 8. My favorite characters on the show were Pete and Myka without a doubt. The other characters are great too but Pete and Myka's goofy flirty somewhat contentious relationship always kept me entertained. I kind of was hoping from the beginning that they'd end up together and I'm glad they didn't rush into it. It made it more believable in the end. Even though they had big differences, their years spent together eroded all that until they had built a deep trust that doesn't happen with love at first sight. People have complained they have no chemistry but I disagree. I think in many ways they were fighting off their feelings for various reasons. There is one teeny complaint I have with the episode and I guess maybe it's just my own personal wishes. But it bothered me that only Steve saw Mrs Frederic's memory with Leena. That was a mistake not sharing that with the whole crew. It could have been a powerful moment. But oh well, I still give it a 10. As far as the shortened series, that didn't bother me. In fact I thought it was the right decision. I felt like the plot and the many events that played out had showed enough of the story. If they had continued it, it would have felt too drawn out. Best to end it on a high note. There were some tears shed. I was hoping for some resolution as far as Pete and Myka's situation. Maybe make them regents for example? But it doesn't matter. It leaves it up to our imagination.

Farewell
dpb-5515731 January 2022
Nearly eight years after the finale I finally decided to give this show a chance. And I got hooked fairly quickly. It's a shame it didn't go on longer but also grateful that they were able to give the show a farewell. Too many shows end with no closure. This episode gave the characters closure for me. I was both happy and sad.

Why?
rdfarnham4 October 2015
I have been around and watching TV from the 1950s "golden age" until now and one thing I have never been able to understand is why a network will take a well liked (or even loved) show and end it. There have been hundreds over the years, "Night Court", "M.A.S.H.", "Eureka", "Carol Burnett", the original "Star Trek" and "Warehouse 13" to name but a few. If the show is losing popularity and ratings I can understand it but they keep other shows on long past their time. It seems that there is often no rhyme or reason for how the run of a show is determined. In the 60s they canceled the original "Mission: Impossible" and "Hogan's Heroes" even though both were still popular and had high ratings. I sometimes get the feeling that some idiot on the board of directors just gets a burr under his saddle and cancels a show because he feels like it and wants to prove he is doing something.

Loved this!
emz_morris4 May 2021
I started watching this when it originally came out but then it went off terrestrial TV after S1, so couldn't watch it all until now.

Suffice to say, I still loved it just as much, if not more this time round!

Yes some of the episodes are a bit silly, but it's still enjoyable. You get drawn in and you love the characters. I loved them all but Pete was my absolute fave with his goofiness.

There's all sorts in this series, there's silliness, adventure, joy, pain, sorrow and heartache, and lovability.

I really enjoyed it and was sad to see it end.

I loved watching this show and the finally was great. This and the one where they go into a telenovella and speak spanish. That was a hoot....especially the music.

I just gave my wife a 'snag it, bag it, and tag it' tee shirt for her birthday. I'm sure I'll get one for mine.

Time to watch it over again.....!

Closing House
hellraiser725 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Warning don't read unless seen episode

This is one of my favorite episodes of the show but it's also one of my favorite finales of all time. I'm personally not too sad the show was ending, as a saying goes "best to quit while ahead." I felt the show went the right length where most shows have this bad habit of stretching things out longer than desired, which is never a good thing as it means quality in the show dips.

This is a different kind of finale as it's really an anthology, which makes sense when you think about it because with anthologies it means everyone will have a hand in the episode but most importantly gives them each a chance to shine one last time and to say goodbye to all of us.

Each of the situation that the Warehouse Raiders are fun if nothing special as it just seems like the typical fare were all use to, but what makes these stories are more in the moments and what the characters do in the aftermath.

Really like the monologue with Artie, which was great, what he says reflects our feeling on not just this shows about to end, but also on even other tv shows that we've all loved and endured it's loss. What he says really shows that us the fans are the one's that have made these shows because not just has our admiration kept the show going but even when it's gone, we've kept the shows alive for ourselves and the many generations to come that have yet to see and discover it. We then see the Warehouse give Artie one gift which was touching, both it's way and our way of saying thanks. It's even more touching when we then discover something else about Artie that he has a son, discovering this shows that his legacy will live on but also just as his great need to defend good is no longer needed, he now has another place where he is needed which is with his family.

Though to me the best one was with Pete and Mika whom we see were on a typical mission where they fought a bunch of ninjas. I'll just say Pete and Mika aren't the "Ninja Turtles" but at least they were good enough to kick all their butts and accomplish their mission. At the final moment of the memory shown we see Mika gives Pete a look as he was turned away and that was a look of love for him.

Mika of course at first is trying to play the denial card, which is of course useless as the recording table never lies about what it receives, let alone the fact Mika is sitting next to Jinx. But then she stops talking and sees the image of her face once more which is the face of her own truth and then admits it to everyone and herself, she loves Pete.

In this moment she knows it's time to do what she's got to do. I really like the fact that Mika is the one that is the first to tell him, which is fitting considering what she's been though in the past year, she realizes that she doesn't have all the time in the world. She never had love again in her life because she didn't allow herself to, as she chose to devote herself completely to her career and simply being alone, because it was safe. But she doesn't have a career anymore and after her bad experience she realizes she doesn't want to be alone anymore.

Really like the things both Pete and Mika say to each other which are beautiful, to the point where no words are necessary at all nor needed. At this point Pete and Mika are off on a new adventure which is a relationship with each other, what they do and whether it will work out is up to them but so as it is with love.

It's bittersweet seeing everyone go, in a way the end of the warehouse was sort of all the characters graduation. The think is the Warehouse has found them because that was where they all needed to be because each of them were people searching for something in their lives but now finally, they've all found it which is why it's time for them all to leave to seek their own adventures wherever they go but most importantly live out their lives.

I even like how as everyone is going to go their own ways, you can't help but feel that there could still be more story to tell, even part of that ending shows that the business of the Warehouse still lives on. But in a way that's true about how we feel about all stories, we love them so much because of how much we invest ourselves in them that we almost don't want them to end, and the thing is they never do if we keep them in our hearts.

Nothing more to stay, farewell Warehouse Raiders, you've given us great adventures and just as they will continue for you wherever you go, they will continue for us. And just like the relics in the Warehouse you all will never be forgotten as the Warehouse, and you will live on in our hearts forever.

Rating: 4 stars.

Lazy Series Finale
Johnny_West28 August 2020
So even at the end, when Pete needed to step it up and convince Myka that he loves her, he is a total loser. It ends up Myka that has to do all the work, and there really is no chemistry between them. Like they had to end up together, but why? Neither one of them has any real attraction for the other. It was awkward and unbelievable, and Pete could not sell it at all. As an actor, Pete is not capable of any dramatic moments.

Saul Rubinek just does his cranky and disagreeable personality one more time. He is really hard to watch on a TV series. I never watched this show when it was on, because of Saul Rubinek. He is just rude and abrasive all the time.

Claudia is another total zero. Warehouse 13 was all about her. She was the golden child that was going to become the Warehouse guardian. She could screw up everything and somehow it was alright because she did it. She violated every rule, and there was never any accountability. When they said the Warehouse was moving, I hoped that meant she would dry up and die, but no. She continues on, being her obnoxious know-it-all self. Only the good die young.

Meh
marcuscoltro15 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I had never watched the whole series - just lose episodes on cable TV. I bought the dvd collection and started watching a couple months ago - the first episodes were nice, as well most of the series.

But this last episode was "meh". Even the actors seems to be overacting like newbies.

I think the closure should've been something more Warehouse-ish, not a clip from the past images mingled with a bit of new stories.

I wonder if they'll make someday a sequential story - after all, these actors are not so old to prevent them to continue the series - maybe with new writers to freshen up the rhythm.
