Olan Rogers, who plays the adult Walt Disney, was cast as an extra in the mildly superior 2015 film "Walt Before Mickey."
Due to a shoestring budget, the child actors who portrayed the Disney siblings were not permitted to rehearse their scenes prior to shooting. Sadly, their scenes each result in a series of line readings, with no acting.
The strange man hiding in the corner of the Disney children's bedroom, at the 26:09 mark of the movie, is Matt Giesler, the film's DP. Director Logan Sekulow loved the creepiness of the scene so much that he kept the shot--unedited--in the final cut.
The film's title comes from the song "When You Wish Upon a Star," from the classic Disney animated film "Pinocchio." Singer - songwriter Kevin Max, who cameos in this film, would go on to cover the song in his 2015 cover album "Starry-Eyes Surprise."
