Kisiskolas dramaturg, rossz rendezo
andras-ocskay12 January 2019
A film kisiskolas modon irodott. Cselekmeny mesterkelt, modoros, ahogy a dialogusok is.

Kar kar kar, ahogy a varju is mondja a kovon.

A very special film

My first review for a Hungarian movie... I saw in my life a few good films produced in neighboring Hungary (I'm born in Bucharest, Romania, which is frequently confused with Budapest ...) I admire Hungarian filmmakers for their courage in addressing topics banned during communism. This film is made in post-communist time, in 2014 and it has a very simple subject. But the manner in which it treated the subject is very complex. The music is subtle and very effective. The actors are all like extracted from a real slice of life, all of grade 10. In particular, the Hungarian version of Vin Diesel, Ferenc Lengyel. And the Cinematography by Marton Miklauzic is a little bit revolutionary. I recommend it to everybody.

It was here before your eyes all over the time

That is some really fine piece of movie with room for various interpretations. Hats down for the writer team - they created a script with just the right pace, with the right setting everyone in the city can relate, the right amount of information about the characters to keep them interesting. The only thing I would've changed is the ending - such grim story would deserve something else than this pseudo-happy ending. Actors are all awesome, and the overall moral of the story, no matter how worn it is, delivered in a very gut-wrenching fashion. Highly recommended for everyone.
