Very messy and convoluted
TheLittleSongbird1 March 2014
You can do worse than Android Cop, but you can do with much, much better as well. It is saved from total disaster by a couple of passable(but nothing more than that) effects and the performances of Michael Jai White and Charles S. Dutton. White has a lot of charisma and manages to put some meaning into his monologues while Dutton performs with terrific gusto, funny and a touch menacing. Unfortunately the rest of the acting is not good, the worst is Larissa Vereza who is both annoying and bland, you often don't have a clue what she's saying. Randy Wayne is bad too, he is robotic emotionally even for a robot, plays it far too straight-faced and is nowhere near aggressive or charismatic enough(he doesn't even command or intimidate physically because he's too short and scrawny). Kadeem Hardison doesn't get much to shine with, he has talent but has such an insignificant character that it's a waste really. The characters are very poorly developed and are not interesting or likable at all, the "villains"- difficult to call them that when there isn't really a main one, just a handful of insignificant ones- are written stereotypically, don't seem much of a threat and just seem to be there to be a source of conflict(that doesn't work, seeing as how poorly they are written). The worst case however was for the titular character, absolutely no effort to make to explain where he came from, the reason for his creation and existence and how he came to be the way he was, it is very difficult to engage with a character that we know nothing about and is this poorly acted. Most of the special effects are static and cheap, and the practical ones are little better. The android suit can't even be classed as one, it read too much of a man in a nylon tight-suit.

The editing is very choppy and whatever good locations there are are not used very well with no time to enjoy them, in fact most of the settings are dreary and yes that is even for the type of movie Android Cop is. The worst aspect though of Android Cop is the writing(both in script and story). There is barely even a script, when there are bare bones of it has a lot of stilted lines especially anything that comes out of Vereza's mouth(her English is not easy to understand and she stumbles on a lot of her lines) and sketchily drawn characters. The story is little more than a convoluted jumble, too much is thrown in within such a short running time and nothing makes sense as a result. The action sequences are generic and has nothing new to what's we've seen before in action movies we've seen previously, it doesn't help also that some of the worst of the production values are in the action sequences, while there is no sense of suspense or conflict which adds to the pointlessness of the "villains" and even the titular character. If Android Cop was longer and the pace slowed down it would have felt much less hectic and may have been a tad more coherent. Atkins' direction is sloppy, the material completely goes out of control, the actors should have had much more to do than what they had, he rushes through things and slaps it all together and he should have realised that the movie needed a serious re-write and that the scenes between White and Vereza needed re-takes because of how badly Vereza(White occasionally too) fluffs her lines. To sum things up, not absolute garbage- you can certainly do worse than Android Cop- but on most counts it is a mess. 3/10 Bethany Cox

Doesn't even have the 'so bad it's good' factor that Asylum often gets right
Seth_Rogue_One3 October 2015
45 minutes worth of script expanded to a 90 minute movie makes this for a pretty dull ride for the most part, often moving at a snails pace.

I like Michael Jai White and think that he's a good action-star but he doesn't always have the best luck with the quality of movies he get to do, and this is without a doubt the worst movie I've seen him in.

It's basically a rip off of Robocop, but I didn't really expect much else, I did expect to be at least somewhat entertained (even if part of the entertainment would most likely be for the 'wrong reasons') but even that did not ring true.

Michael Jai White feels uninspired but his natural charisma brings the rating up one notch without even trying.

It makes some attempt at adding the occasional joke here and there to lighten the mood from the 'serious tone' of the movie but the comedic timing is so off that it gets more cringe-worthy than anything else.

Also offers one of the most predictable twists in the end that I've seen in a long long time.

Acting: 3/10, Productionvalue: 2/10, Script: 1/10

Robocop Ripoff made on a $1000.00 budget
pete1-222 April 2022
Okay it's another typical Asylum ripoff of an old classic science fiction movie. It's so bad it's comical but maybe that's the point. It has bad acting, bad FX and a bad script. So if you want to see a cheesy spoof, this might give you a chuckle or two.

This is essentially a poor man's "Robocop"...
paul_haakonsen13 April 2014
The Asylum does it again; take on a forthcoming potential blockbuster and make a poor man's version of it. This time it is with the remake of "Robocop", and The Asylum cleverly called it "Android Cop". Potato, potato...

Despite it being such a shameful and blatant copy of "Robocop", then I will say that The Asylum actually well all the way with this one, and it is by far one of their best productions to date. Be it a rip off or not, there are so many similarities that you just can't ignore.

Moving on... The movie is about police officer Hammond (played by Michael Jai White, I wonder how they managed to get him to do this particular movie) who ends up having to work with a highly advanced android police officer (played by Randy Wayne). Teamed up, they have to infiltrate a dangerous zone to find the mayor's daughter. But as they progress in their investigation, more and more secrets are unveiled, and things are definitely not what they appear.

"Android Cop" was actually rather enjoyable, despite being a rip off movie. Just take it for what it is, and don't read too much into it.

The effects in "Android Cop" were actually quite nice, especially for a production by The Asylum - they really upped the stakes here. And it was a nice thing, a most welcomed thing indeed. The CGI effects were quite good. The only thing that wasn't overly impressive was the toy-like suit of armor that the android police officer was wearing.

"Android Cop" get a solid 5 out of 10 stars from me, and this is definitely a step up for The Asylum - I just wonder when they will stop with the copying of forthcoming potential blockbusters and start coming up with original ideas for themselves...

I want 90 minutes more
dieboard5 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
The CRT touch screen you see in this movie already says I might be cheap but doesn't mean I can be cool and awesome. Where the production is nothing like a Hollywood budget and the acting at the first minutes (and trailer) feels a little bit off this quickly turns around and make it a movie where even Hollywood actors and writers can learn from.

The acting lines are not over the top what you see in allot of low budgets films and to much in Hollywood films. The lines are very solid and well act. This lines only already makes the actors twice if not triple better in performing. This movie could be easily giving some depth which would result in more than 180 minutes of enjoyment in dialogue, action and adventure.

Where I watch allot of low budget movies just for fun I never expected this to see. I recommend this movie to everyone who want to see "Just a movie". You don't have to be afraid that it took 90 minutes of life.

This review doesn't tell you anything about the story since the Story line on the page covers the rest.

"A movie some writes can learn for, over the top is just over the top"

You could do worse
snakepaws16 July 2016
If you're familiar at all with The Asylum, you pretty much already know what you're in for. That said, for The Asylum, this isn't bad. Don't mistake that for "good," though. But you could do worse.

The effects could be better, but they aren't completely terrible. The biggest letdown of the film is the under-utilization of Michael Jai White's martial arts skills. It's in there, but not as much as it could or should have been. Too many camera cuts.

This is a low budget film. It rides the coat tails of Robocop, and has the slight essence of the TV show Almost Human - without being a rehash of either. So don't expect either. Pleasantly surprising coming from The Asylum. Definitely one of their better films.

Absolute waste of time and money!!!
Apneaman4 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
So what the hell were you thinking again. Robocop for the stupid. Do not get me wrong. Charles S. Dutton, is a really good actor. I've always enjoyed watching his movies. But this time it was an absolute failure at hand. As an A list actor can he work with someone like Michael Jai White and Mark Atkins . Something must have gone wrong in his career. Admittedly. The effects are quite OK. But as I said. The actor's performance was simply abysmal. Ideally I will not tell you about the storyline. It's an absolute waste of time. Do me a favor. Do not watch this film. It offended my Inteligenz and your's definitely too.

Not worth your time, or the money wasted to make it.

Warning: Spoilers
So it's just Asylum's version of Robo Cop. And no they have not made a good version, not even passable. Were are they getting the money from to make this crap? it makes no sense. Why not just make one good movie every few months instead of 7 crap movies every week? What they have given you in this movie is a bunch of really good actors that you will know from some of your favorite TV shows or movies of the past (millennium) and stuck them in a bad set with another really bad script, and blinded them with money, and what ever else they seem to have over these actors. I did not Enjoy this crock, nor do I recommend it to anyone. Avoid this, and maybe Asylum will take the message.

It's not Robocop. It's an android, and there are twists.
donovan2419-913-59894019 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Most of us cringe when we see "the Asylum" made a movie. Yet this is pretty good. Good plot, good acting, and it's NOT Robocop, it really is not. It's a new set of ideas, and well done. I really like how the Android cop solved some of the situations without using violence. I also liked the Androids attempt to follow the law.

The special effects are even good. The aircraft are interesting and unique.

The music is so so. The android cop should have been a much better shot. Three guys stand there and the Android shoots dozens of times and misses?

I love Michael Jai White but this was horrendous.
Brooklynsmagicmike24 July 2020
When I say this had to be most cheap looking movie I've ever seen in my life its understatement. Horrendous visuals, bad cgi, weird close up shots, shaking camera, list goes on. Stay away from this movie at all costs!

From The Losers Who Brought You Sharknado.....
DavyDissonance11 September 2019
Some cop and a robot must uncover some conspiracy involving a deadly disease or whatever. Like I care. Android Cop is a dull piece of mongoloid excrement with unexciting action sequences, a story that makes my blubber butt more meaningful, stupid special effects and an extremely unconvincing futuristic world. Oh why can't Michael Jai White get better acting jobs. He's better than this. This is pitiful. Anyways, contracting herpes is better way to spend your day than watching this sphincter.

Android Cop - not Murphy, but it entertains
MrBigDub20 February 2014
Ah, another blockbuster, another knock-off. This time, it is of the RoboCop remake. I picked the combo-pack from my local Best Buy today. Basic Plot: A human cop is teamed up with a machine while sinister forces watch and wait (hardly a spoiler, the box itself gives us as much). In other words, this is a RoboCop knock-off.

I will just tell it like it is. The action scenes are pretty good. Michael Jai White is visibly doing all his own fighting and probably most of his own stunts (minus a couple CGI stunts – you'll know them when you see them). No complaints about the hand-to-hand combat. And when the guns come out the shooting stays pretty exciting. It's on par with 3 Musketeers (also from The Asylum).

The CGI, in my opinion, deserves its own paragraph. For once, the CGI was developed in-house so The Asylum didn't have to rely on the always fake looking effects of "Tiny Juggernaut". The CGI looks way better and a certain vehicle used in the film looks very real, like it was actually there. That and those two afore-mentioned stunts were pretty much the only visual effects used in the whole movie. They didn't go for the "robot point-of-view" (like in AVH: Aliens vs Hunter) or have everything get CGI exploded (like in 3 Musketeers). Quite the opposite: when something blows up (and that's very seldom), it's with real explosives!

The acting is pretty good. All actors do a pretty good job. There's plenty of action movie acting and very little character development but, all in all, better than I've seen in similar films. Charles S. Dutton is really going for the Oscar at the end of the film. And one must give props to Randy Wayne who has the hardest job of all – the title character.

All things considered, this is an entertaining little movie. It's not perfect and switches from night time to day in some places; not to mention the plot holes. And yet, it delivers everything it promises. Often when someone says "a film from The Asylum", people panic and run the other way. But, if you give "Android Cop" a chance, you're in for a treat. I give this movie eight out of ten stars.

Not so bad revisit to Blaxploitation
Amadio7 February 2014
First off, this IS a budget movie, with budget movie production values. Second, taking that into account, it's not so bad. I've seen many many films with way bigger budgets that were FAR worse. I don't recall any Blaxploitation film being made with high production values, though this is definitely a B-movie. It is called Android Cop, and the android part doesn't take over. Good use of future technology to drive the story.

Acting; reasonably good throughout, with a few exceptions. C S Dutton as the mayor is very good. Not such a big role, but what he does he does well. The main protagonists are somewhat hampered by the characters they have to play, but they manage it well enough.

Action; in parts it suffers from the 'many bullets' syndrome of so many Hollywood films. Hundreds of bullets are sprayed from endless ammo guns, and hardly any damage. Oh well, seen that a thousand times.

Photography; for such a low budget film, in parts some of the angles and editing are quite gripping. Only a couple of times did I find myself really criticising the angles, timing of cuts etc.

Dialogue; well, I burst out laughing a couple of times. Genuinely funny. It's not very moving, but it's not saccharine either. Again, only a couple of times did I think the lines were lame.

Story; nothing new, but well delivered. Twists and turns in the right places and nicely paced.

Overall, I didn't think I had wasted my time.

"You're basically a soda machine"
hwg1957-102-2657047 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
A routine post apocalyptic film crossed with an ersatz 'Robocop' film that has its moments but it is mainly something one has seen scores of times before. The plot gets more confusing the longer it goes on and the brief flashbacks didn't help. The cast were not served well by an unexciting narrative which was a shame as Michael Jai White, Charles S. Dutton, Randy Wayne and Kadeem Hardison were fine considering the paucity of depth in the script. The ending was far too rushed. Kay D'Arcy was pretty awesome though as 'Trickshot Granny.'

Terribly produced, low budget "futuristic" action flick.
silverkelt2 February 2016
This is supposed to be a sort of apocalyptic future, but its highly convoluted, what is the real tragedy, is that Micheal Jai White really could be a fairly good action star, when you see movies like Never Back Down 2, you see the potential for it.

BTW.. this isn't a ITS such a BAD movie, its sort of good movie.. its a BAD movie and its really BAD.. it follows on the heels of other MJW movies I have seen lately.

I have a hard time even finishing his last few.

This is overall poor performance from the cast, with cheap production and a rip story-lines as well.

This isn't the sort of independent low budget movie, that you say, "hey, that is sort of cool" no.. its horrendous.

Recommend "skip it"

YOU CALLED FOR BACK-UP?
nogodnomasters10 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In the year 2037 Beverly Hills is part of a quarantine area. An earthquake occurred and there were three "future reactors" in the area which contaminated the land. The area has been taken over by drug lords and various homeless people because everyone wants to live in a poison zone when the beaches are all pristine. The story centers on Hammond (Michael Jai White) a police officer who operates outside of the box. He is assigned an android cop Andi (Randy Wayne) as a partner. Then the film gets weird, It seems the mayor's daughter (Larissa Vereza) is in a coma...her body anyway. Her consciousness is located inside an android that looks like her and is inside the quarantined area, one that has 14 drug lords and she doesn't know she is an android. Our team's job is to go get her and bring her back in the Asylum production of Robo Cop Escapes from LA.

Now that is not it for the major twists, they do make it weirder with a few more.

The film is supposed to be an action comedy with CG flames and guns that never need reloading. The dialog didn't make it.The humor was flat. Comparing an android to a soda machine was supposed to get a laugh. Surely they could have come up with something better than that. The action consisted mostly of bad gun play. I was bored. Kids might like it.

Parental Guide: No sex, nudity, or F-bombs that I can recall.

This is not a Robocop rip off, it's completely different, so some viewers have to stop being so negative
nims-197514 October 2019
Android Cop is an excellent film which I really enjoyed watching. This film is an action packed thriller which has some fight scenes as well but is mainly about dealing with non human criminals in a forbidden city plagued with a disease. This film was a tiny but scary, but more of a mysterious action packed thriller and that is what makes it completely different to the film Robocop. The film has some excellent acting by Michael Jai White as Hammond, Kadeem Hardison as Sgt Jones, Randy Wayne as Android Cop, Charles S. Dutton as Mayor Jacobs, Larissa Vereza as Helen Jacobs and Delpaneaux Wills as Officer Williams. Ignore the negative reviews, this definitely is an excellent film.

A intriguing action thriller that is much better than most Asylum stuff.
Wade_C29 March 2020
The acting is excellent, The action is choreographed surprisingly good, Not John Wick levels, but much better than most recent action thrillers. There's also several twists that were not predictable, and if anyone says to you that they predicted them, They're lying. Punch them in the face, because these are not predictable twists, I'd say Saw levels of twists.

Michael J White - Best Action Heroes? Yes He is One of Them
goverthana8 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I saw the negative reviews, I chose not see the movie but then I saw the actors list and there it was Michael Jai White (Blood and Bone) then I thought give it a shot after seeing him in (Spawn) once and then in the other films as well with good records, well, very good action sequences kind of reminds me of Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren, Jean-Claude Van Damme action flick fighting scenes from the 90s, those who love action movies not to be missed, this Golden Egg as it is said, is laid only once in a while so to say sadly. So if you haven't watched it yet - go and watch it strongly recommended. It's a story about futuristic post apocalyptic cops fighting crime against No One (the poor whom are placed in a self contained sector whom has no amenities whatsoever living a poorly unhygienic life with diseases being falsely subjected as the evil criminals by the powerful corporate governance of the future for corporate gains), our hero has some troubles of his own with his sidekick whom happens to be a A.I. Humanoid SuperCop and they are mislead by their own superiors to this wasteland after the earthquake and nuclear disaster to combat and destroy their so-called enemies without being known that they are actually the victims of the corporate governance - the story keeps on going from one place to another, its never boring filled with action adventure although some characters might seem to weak to be the villains but hey! are they really villains? Watch and find out - good overall entertainment it sits right between being cheesy with good story and it will give a hunch to us all what will come of us with some being greedy for power and money leaving the rest to rot - good philosophy behind this movie if you analyse it.

How come the good talented actors don't get good high budget films instead thrown off to the side? Sidelined Good action heroes, This happened in the 90s to Chistopher Lambert (Highlander), Lou Diamond Phillips (The Big Hit) till now Matthew McConaughey (Reign of Fire), Scott Adkins (Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning), Adrien Brody (Predators), Vin Diesel (Riddick), Dwayne Johnson (Faster) and the others like Karl Urban (Dredd),Taylor Kitsch (Battleship), Aaron Eckhart (Battle Los Angeles) - these actors have full potential to become good action stars but nevertheless depends also on good plot.

Some actors like Chris Evans (suitable only for franchised superhero plots only not fight sequence action star), Jeremy Renner (vee=ry premature fight sequence action star not realistic), Christian Bale (good for fight sequence action movies like (Equilibrium) not for some franchise superhero plots).

Best action Stars of All time (Clint EastWood, Arnie, Stallone, Kurt Rusell, Bruce Lee, Charles Bronson, John Wayne ..the list goes on from the past with good records - they had this outright energy and charisma of Heroes as well as acting skills that can stand out one from the other not clone like what you see nowadays) so the guys like Chris Evans,Jeremy Renner, Christian Bale, Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Channing Tatum, Josh Hartnett, Hayden Christensen, Ryan Reynolds (worst action star looks like a cutie pie to me) they all just look plain, the faces look straight with highly educated looks from a very high profile background not like a streetwise rookie with some punch furthermore they tend to show nothing extra with a clone like feeling, I can't see any differentiating talent with all of them other than that of few weeks of training for the action sequences with a Kung Foo Fight sequence coordinators for their respective films, from the above list Matt Damon is taking up some serious efforts and to me he's becoming more matured, the others are pretty much clones.

Current Best Action Heroes, My Pick - Jason Statham, Jet Li, Michael Jai White, Dwayne Johnson and Scott Adkins.

Two cops ( a human and an android ) become unexpected partners and fight their way to find a sinister plot in motion around them.
ahsansarwarrana3 February 2014
Same idea as "Almost Human" TV series though there is a lot less fun because acting is not that great. Jokes were not properly executed which makes the continuity of the movie unbearable at times. They tried to show a world of technology but they've shown close to none ( except for the android cop which cannot show all the technology by itself ). Villainious characters in the movie were not that hard and they should have been made a little better. Acting does improve by time but joke execution remains the same but the movie becomes bearable after sometime so its a plus. Storyline was good and above average but still was far off in showing advancements. Turns in the story are good to watch and in the end you feel good that the movie was not a complete waste of time. All in all a watchable flick.

Great movie
ms-shaye198425 May 2014
I bought this movie because it has three actors that I am very familiar with, one being in my top 10 favorites- Michael Jai White. I have read all of the comments. Yes, I do agree with many of the comments that is another ROBOCOP, but whether this movie is low budget, in your opinion, has nothing to do with the greatness of a movie. Yes, at the beginning, I thought ROBOCOP,but a 2014 Robocop in which many children can better understand, being that technology has definitely changed since the original Robocop was released in 1987. Android Cop has a different plot. Michael Jai White didn't know he was an Android Cop, which made the plot better. What he thought was reality, wasn't. In which all of us go through that on a daily basis- hence the continuous arguments that we have within all of our relationships. Robocop wasn't as helpful and detailed and tech savvy as Android cop. Robocop couldn't pull up bank records and other personal detailed information to know whether or not you, potential criminals or criminal, were threats for the particular issue. I would recommend this movie. It was well worth my money and will watch it again.

This was overall well written, and MJW does a fun performance. I could easily see this as a indy pilot film to attain a bigger budget, which a low budget is its only real flaw.

Definitely worth watch.

B-movie Gold & A Great Action-Packed Thrill-Ride Of A Movie. Way Better Than Most Mega Budget Blockbuster Movies!!!
lukem-5276018 January 2023
Android Cop was a massive welcomed surprise!!! Yes it's considered one of Asylums Mockbusters but it's so much more than just a cheap low-rent version of the Robocop reboot.

First off this B-movie gem is a lovely mixture of many old school & newer buddy-cop films & action-packed Sci-fi films & blends it altogether pretty much faultless, considering this is a mega low-budget film.

I saw homages to Surrogates, Doomsday, Robocop, Mad Max, i,Robot, Universal Soldier, Lethal Weapon, Alien Nation, Escape from L. A, Cyborg, T-Force & more!!!

The film is a throwback to old school 80's buddy-cop films & the Sci-fi action genre & we get a gloriously kick-ass piece of B-movie heaven.

The cast is great with B-movie & cult cinema action hero MICHAEL JAI WHITE, a guy i alway remembered from the underrated SPAWN (1997) & Exit Wounds, but a guy that has done so much direct-to-video action work that he's a legend of that genre. To see Jai White at probably his absolute bone crunching best i would recommend the superior sequel, Undisputed 2 where he's up against another b movie action legend Scott Adkins.

Michelle Jai White is Awesome in his role here as tough future cop Hammond. Jai White does not "Phone it in" or "Sleep walk" through it, oh no he's no Steven Seagal, in fact Jai White gives it his all in his role. White is very funny as the script gives him a chance at playing a sarcastic & funny cop, yes he's tough but also very witty & humorous. Hammond is teamed up with a new type of police officer, an Android Cop. The robotic officer who becomes known as Andy by Hammond have to reluctantly work together in order to save a mysterious young lady from a quarantined area of Los Angeles called The Zone. The Zone is cut off from the rest of Los Angeles & is where a deadly virus has once spread & all that is left there is mutant people & violent gangs (think The Warriors) & it feels very 80's Cool. Set in 2045 in L. A & full of futuristic bit & bobs & made purely to entertain as it blasts by in it's fast pace, Android Cop is a blast of a good time.

Hammond & Andy are on a mission into the Zone to rescue the Mayor's daughter but also end up uncovering a major Conspiracy that leads back to their own police department. I was pleasantly surprised by how packed this little film was of twists & turns & slam bang action.

The story is awesome & again very old school 80's or early 90's & there's even a very smart & unexpected twist along the way & many awesome shootouts & fights. I got vibes of the awesome DREDD at points in the Zone area. The script is damn good for a cheap B-movie & the film has many uses of very smart futuristic technology ideas such as some humans in comas that are unaware they're in a coma & are living life outside as a Robot but with their conscience!!! Some very smart ideas here & some fun little gems sprinkled throughout such as we here that Coca Cola or any soft drinks no longer exist with any sugar & are as rare as anything else deemed unhealthy in this controlled 2045 futuristic world. Yep, there's lots of nice little touches to look out & listen for. Now, this being a very cheap film the fx aren't like Will Smith's i, Robot but for what they had to work with they definitely delivered something Awesome. The standouts are the excellent looking Police spaceship type cruiser & the spiked mad max style car.

Now also being this is a very low-budget movie means there's never that many people or extras around so when the characters are in the Zone place the gangs are very few at a time, it doesn't really matter at the same time you also don't get the feel of a place overrun with lots of savage gangs like in The Warriors or Doomsday. The production isn't that bad actually, again considering it's tiny budget, as the quarantined area known as The Zone looks more like an old western town than a city type area. What i appreciated is that they really tried with this movie & it definitely wasn't as terrible or tacky as most Asylum stuff.

The cast really do put in very surprisingly good work with of course Michael Jai White putting in a very Del Spooner (Will Smith in i,Robot) type performance & pulls it off as an awesome character & has some good banter chemistry with Andy. Also the Android Cop called Andy is perfectly played by Randy Wayne & a corrupted fellow police officer that has a fairly main part is excellently played by Kadeem Hardison & veteran actor Charles S. Dutton puts in a very effective performance as the Mayor with a dark secret & a very strong meaningful performance from Larissa Verez as the missing Mayor's daughter. In fact the film has a mainly black cast which was very cool like an old-school Blaxploitation film.

I want a sequel with more adventures with these characters as they're so damn cool.

As said this movie really is B-movie gold. Every now & again a B-movie comes along that is just a blast, such as other gems i love like Dolph Lundgren's Battle of the Damned & Quarantine 2: The Terminal.

Definitely one the best B-movies in a long time & I've seen hundreds & usually rate B-movies higher than big budget Blockbusters!!!

Good fun.
