Sex & Nudity

  • None of concern except slave girls being sold to families.
  • Kissing between a married couple briefly.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence, though very light, involves a few mild execution moments and intense scenes related to Rome.
  • A man is fed to the lions/executed (off-screen). All you hear is a lion's roar and the scene then cuts.
  • In the opening scene, there is a brief moment of two Roman soldiers fighting in the arena with weapons.
  • A house raid is shown in an intense scene, where tables are overturned and objects are thrown around in anger by the Romans. Also, a man is pushed to the ground forcefully. The house is burned to the ground. It may be briefly sad/upsetting.
  • A man is kidnapped by the Romans and tied up in an intense moment; a girl is chased by a guard, but strikes him with a stick (a little blood on him shown).

Profanity

  • No foul language, except a few mild insults here and there.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Maybe a few or so drinking scenes (possibly) but none I could think of.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Christian persecution moments are very intense and possibly hard to watch (people are persecuted/executed).
  • A jump scene in which a man is kidnapped by a Roman guard, it could be upsetting to watch.
  • There are a few heated arguments shown between Christians and Romans, when they are forced to worship Caesar.
