  Charlotte Clarke : But Mom?

  Daniel Grayson : Well, she needs her rest. Even if she were awake, I don't know what I'd say.

  Charlotte Clarke : Don't beat yourself up, Daniel. None of this is your fault. I checked on Sara.

  Daniel Grayson : Wha...

  Charlotte Clarke : She's okay.

  [he sighs with relief] 

  Charlotte Clarke : And don't worry, Emily will get better. She will pull through. I know the police talked to you about Mom. They asked me, too.

  Daniel Grayson : Well, she... she's innocent, Charlotte.

  Charlotte Clarke : I don't think she is. No one does.

• Charlotte Clarke : [showing the patient wedding photographs]  You looked so beautiful. It was like a real-life fairy-tale.

  [scoffs] 

  Charlotte Clarke : You've gotta remember something.

  Emily Thorne : [whispers]  I don't.

  Charlotte Clarke : I know you will. You're my inspiration, Emily. I've always relied on your strength to get me through tough times. I just wish I knew where you got it from.

  Emily Thorne : [exhales deeply, sighs]  My father...

  Charlotte Clarke : You remember him?

  Emily Thorne : [nods]  Yes.

  Charlotte Clarke : That's good, Emily. What's his name? Tell me.

  Emily Thorne : David. His name is David Clarke.

  [causing Charlotte to look puzzled] 

• Charlotte Clarke : Hey. I thought you'd be getting Carl by now.

  Jack Porter : So did I.

  [places stuffed toy back into crib] 

  Jack Porter : But now I'm not so sure. This whole thing with Emily has really... has really gotten to me.

  Charlotte Clarke : Yeah. Me, too. I've been trying to help her, but the weirdest thing just happened.

  Jack Porter : What?

  Charlotte Clarke : Emily said she remembered her father. And when I asked what his name was, she said 'David Clarke.'

  Jack Porter : [covering]  Well, I mean, she probably saw you... and then got mixed up.

  Charlotte Clarke : Maybe. She seemed so sure of it. It freaked me out.

  Jack Porter : Charlotte, uhm, I think it might help if I see Emily.

  [gets skeptical look] 

  Jack Porter : Look, she's obviously confused, I think I can help her remember that she's Emily Thorne and not... someone else.
