Ragnar, Bjorn and two men go to Kattegat to destroy the winter supplies to Jarl Borg to force him to leave the village. Then Lagherta and Bjorn and their men join forces with Ragnar, Rollo and their men and together they defeat Jarl Borg that flees. Meanwhile King Ecbert protects Athelston to learn the pagan culture and beliefs. Ragnar wants to stay with Auslag and Lagherta since he loves both women but Lagherta decides to come back to her husband. Now Bjorn must make another choice.

"Answers in Blood" is another great episode of "Vikings". Unfortunately Jarl Borg survives and now there are many issues in the story. What will happen to Athelston and his religious beliefs is maybe the most important question. How will King Horit and his son survive in an enemy territory? When will Lagherta return to the show? My vote is eight.

Striking Kattegat

"Answers in Blood" has an interestingly thought-provoking storyline following Athelstan and his wavering between religions (he's got his own little trippy horror movie going on), while also featuring an epic plot with Ragnar and his people taking back Kattegat. This episode features likely my favourite battle sequence so far, between Ragnar and Jarl Borg, and it's great to see Rollo taking on a lot of leadership here. It's also nice to see Björn carrying a lot of Ragnar's positive attributes, while Lagertha makes an emotional and strong decision at the episode's conclusion to leave Bjorn with Ragnar. However, it was a jarring choice to have Ragnar immediately be back in Kattegat and not see Jarl Borg fleeing the town.

Family Affair

The previous episode was cool. I'm slowly liking this series. But just seeing Bjorn, his dad and his mom together, and his uncle fighting together was cool. Even "Uncle" floki! This episode is actually making me a fan because so many gatherings and interactions.

Im writing this ecstatic after watching the legendary brawl between Ragnar and Jarl Borg.

If you want to see one episode of Vikings, watch this one.

Oh my god is all i can think of, the teamwork and strong family bond.

As a Viking I'm feeling blessed to have this series to enjoy during the holidays, thank you History Channel for making this possible.
