Easter egg
Phantomjvm14 March 2014
I loved this episode, and the show btw! I was wondering if anyone else saw what was advertised on the side of the bus the Arrow stopped?? Give up?? It was for a "Blue Devil" movie!! Origin: Daniel Patrick Cassidy is a special effects wizard and stuntman hired to create and play the title character in the movie Blue Devil. To that end Cassidy creates a full-body costume with a hidden powered exoskeleton and built-in special-effects devices. When two of his co-stars accidentally free a demon named Nebiros, Cassidy uses his costume to drive the demon back, but not before being blasted with mystical energy. After the fight, Cassidy finds that the blast has permanently grafted the Blue Devil costume to his body. Thanks Wiki. It would be sweet to have the Blue Devil do a spot on Arrow.

It's all in the ending.
cousbrojs5 March 2014
"Time Of Death" proved to be a slow, but very enthusiastic episode. The villain of the week, The Clock King (played brilliantly by Robert Knepper) was interesting and menacing. It was great to see Felicity have a little more to do rather than hack firewalls. The action sequences were a little stale but it didn't matter as the family drama continued to please. But the best thing about this episode is the big ending.

*Pacing: Above average *Story: Good *Action: Average *Drama: Very Good

It may have been a fairly slow and average episode, but the excellently portrayed villain and jaw dropping ending easily bumps up this episode's status. More shows need to watch Arrow and understand what cliff hangers are.

Episode rating: 8.1/10

Great episode!

After waiting for 2 weeks (I think), we got a great episode. There was so much character development in this episode it was crazy (not going to spoil anything, but we learned more about characters). The villain in this episode was pretty good, especially because a certain actor played him very well. Honestly, this episode stood out because of its cliffhanger ending which left me in shock and through the marvellous character development. I also really liked how we got each major and minor character to appear in the episode, it made the episode better. Arguably one of the best episodes of Arrow. I recommend you to watch this episode as soon as possible.

Yet another great episode on Arrow!

Warning: Spoilers
The review might contain minor spoilers, although I'll try to be as less explicit as possible. So, more than half of season 2 is already done and the story line seems to be taking a very interesting route. However, in this particular episode, there were some good things and some not-bad things. (Well, of course I cant say BAD, its ARROW!) The things I loved about this episode: -The villain. -The love triangle. -The way they are trying to extend the Island story line. -The confrontation between Oliver and Laurel, a particular one. -Stephen Amell's acting. -THE WAY THIS EPISODE ENDED! Things I do not LOVE about this episode: -Less of the villain. -Less of Roy. -Well, um.. I cant seem to think about anything else. So, when I say the villain, I mean The Clock King. His tactics, his ways were intimidating. The seconds thing, I loved! He felt like a real threat to the hero. But when I say 'less of the villain' I mean that he was so good, that I wanted more of him and didn't get. His motivation was disappointing for me. And then the way he was taken down, not at all satisfying, I might in fact say rushed. I mean, do you remember how the Arrow took down Shrapnel by shooting an arrow at the wire? That was amazing! Although, I expect him to return in the future like Count Vertigo. The reason I specifically mention Amell's acting is that I've been watching Arrow since season 1 and, don't take me wrong, he acts like he's a robot. But, since the last few episodes, I think he has improved significantly. In this episode, I just loved his acting, especially in a scene where he and Laurel had a conversation. Moreover, the turn that Sin's story line took was very good. I thought her to be just a not-so-important recurring character but it was proved to be otherwise. I really would have liked to see the character build up of Roy into the comic book hero Speedy, but seemingly they have a lot to offer and everything cannot be stuffed into one episode. So, its okay. And last but not the least, BOY, DID THEY END THIS EPISODE SUPERBLY! I screamed 'Oh my god!' thrice in the end, literally! I don't wanna go into too much detail because I fear I'll spoil it as I'm so excited! So, yeah, I'll say: Another great episode by a show that keeps getting better and better! I rate this episode an 8.5/10.

Worlds Collide
SpideyVerse2319 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The flashbacks and the present day storyline are beginning to become more connected than ever with every passing episode.

In the flashbacks, nothing much happens except finding out how Sara knows Sin, and them getting a parachute.

Sara has joined the team and is in a relationship with Oliver, which makes Felicity feel a little left out. The villain of the week, Clock King, was interesting yet underutilized, but he was used as a way for Felicity to prove something to herself.

Sara is still in a bad place with Laurel, and an attempt to have a family dinner with Oliver goes sideways till Laurel hits rock bottom and starts picking herself up again.

Meanwhile, Thea catches on to the tension between Oliver and Moira and tricks Oliver into going home during the day, but he finds a huge surprise waiting for him, and creates a mind-blowing ending, setting up the next episode to be a tense one.

This soap opera is getting more and more predictable.
Shmaden1 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a total garbage and with the last ones is destroying this show which had great potential, and this is reflected in how many users are watching this crap. You may say in a review that this was a great episode, with "chaacter development" bla, bla, bla... but the reality is that this show is going down hard and at this rhythm there are few things that could save him.

This episode may be consider great by people with less brain, who may say it was great with action and "character development" and other stuff, what character development? Does anyone know what that means or did just saw in other reviews and thought "Hey this is cool, let's use it, maybe I'll get more people to find my review useful. Well let me break it down for you. This character development is the way that a "character" develops his personality through the various situations that he/she encounters. What character development we have at Oliver since he's the guy with no personality. This episode was all about a guy who apparently was genius, and who we know nothing about, organizing thefts to save his wife, and gets electrocuted early in the show because, yeah, let's make time for more family soap opera. I don't even know why are they showing "previously on Arrow" since every episode has almost nothing to do with the previous. Sure, for amateurs showing a different villain every episode without knowing anything about him may be great but for those who want a good show, this is just silly. But yeah sure, keep bringing new characters in the show without proper introduction and get rid of them just as easy.

Apart from this, the show is getting more like a cartoon, with awful plot about Felicity being left out. And when she's asked why she feels that way, no it's not because she's in love with Oliver, no, definitely not, quit stalling Greg, and give us some answers, couldn't be that hard right? I'm watching also "Teen Titans" and although is a cartoon, is more mature than this garbage. I've seen character development and buildup, betrayal, redemption, but no soap opera or left out things. So, sorry but this show is worse than a cartoon. The acting is still horrible, Caity Lolz seems less mature than Felicity, who at the end saves the day, really?

The only reasons I give this episode 2 is because we see some improvement in Stephen Amell's acting, and for the nice ending that gave big potential to this show, hopefully will not be wasted like the other time around. I'm sorry for this garbage but my vote is 2/10.

Unwatchable
bobbybits27 February 2014
Absolutely utterly unwatchable. If you can wade through that amount of crap, throughout these recent episodes then getting to ending. However fast forwarding looking for those entire 5 minutes of action based entertainment. Assuming that your some teen hipster who watches the Disney channels Brady bunch programming not Malcolm's middle finger an appropriate response to this age group. The recent formula is about 5 or so minutes of some bad guy often an idiot with an ego to match this superhero, then those Brady's solve that mystery. The rest of the time is spent. Dun dun forgetting some pointless memory. When following all those mommy, daddy, family issues at the family pizza party. Episode concludes with any message, killing is real bad, not at all cool on this show now, so when looking for any revenge dress in tights like the hood, but give a family hug, and don't forget deodorant, green arrow'sol.

I would die if I watch another episode of this crap.......... if a minus rating is possible this takes that raspberry
