I love this because like in the BMW ep "I Am Not a crook the kids experience running for school government reminds them why they are all friends and the video that Riley and Maya make shows how much they care about Lucas. Much like Cory and Shawn's dialogue at the end of "I Am Not a Crook shows how genuine their friendship is.
Shawn:"Didn't you make outrageous campaign promises you knew you couldn't keep?"
Cory: "Yeah because, you told me to."
Shawn: " If I told you to jump off a bridge would you do it?"
Cory: " Yeah, I did that one time don't you remember?"
Alvin: "How can you vote for a guy who's dumb enough to jump off a bridge?"
Shawn: "It was a miniature golf bridge, he jumped in to get my ball, and don't call my friend dumb."
Cory: "Yeah, There's no room in this campaign for name calling you four-eyed,frog-voiced goon."
Cory: " I just wanna say before this election I really didn't know who I was or what was important to me and now weeks later after looking deep into my soul,I still have no idea. So I ran for president to find out who I was. And I think what I'm finding out is I'm not a good candidate and I'm not a good friend. So I resign and I think everyone should vote for Shawn, he really is the best friend you could ever have."
Shawn: No I'm not, I'm worse than you. I made up every lie he told. I've known Cory all my life and he really is honest, loyal, and decent. That's what you are Cor- That's all you need to be."
I included this whole speech because like with the video for Lucas from Riley and Maya shows their friendship it shows how real and deep the friendship between Cory and Shawn is. I love it! Totally awesome and touching ep.
