Good plot line

Warning: Spoilers
I liked that this episode actually had a bit of substance to it. It focused on some tough moral decisions. Pythagoras got some more screen time and he really made the most of it. Some good acting.

The only thing that is bothering me is that none of the characters seem to care if a side character dies.

The guide in this episode gets taken away and presumably killed by the furies.

Either the writers are trying to make it more kid friendly or are sociopaths that don't understand people normally are sad when someone dies.

Robert Emms is outstanding in this episode

If you're a fan of Robert Emms, this is a must watch episode. "The Furies" gives Pythagoras the main plot-line, and focuses on his back-story. Robert Emms is allowed to shine and he does so brilliantly. His performance is heartbreaking.

The rest of the cast does well also, although they're just supporting parts. The story is interesting and entertaining, and the new characters (including Pythagoras' brother) are intriguing enough to genuinely care about even though they're only in this episode and no others.

This episode is not suited for young children as it deals with some very serious themes. It would fit better with the tone of the second season, which is still a family show, but certainly more adult and not aimed at children.

Definitely one of the best episodes of the first season.

Worst of the worst. Childish.

So in ancient Greece we had deserts ?

Who would imagine this.

This travesty of a show is for children.

Not very bright or educated children.
