Jealousy leads to issues between characters, with few resolutions made.

Warning: Spoilers
Stress in relationships, as well as friendships, lead to a lot of old feelings coming back in the episode and it causes issues. For example, at this point, John and Kathryn, to me, are on the road to being separated due to John doing one childish thing after the next. But, while John seems to be the main factor causing issues in his relationship, everyone else's is a bit more complex.

Topic 1: Daphne

Between Campbell and Jorge, Daphne has gotten herself into a love triangle. For, as I suspected early on, she has developed something with Jorge, who is playing lead, and now Campbell has gotten a crush on Daphne too. With this, expect Campbell to play a love sick puppy, like Emmett used to back in the day, and Jorge to likely end up like most of Daphne's exes. Especially since what she did to Coto, who apparently was Latino, is likely to cause issues.

You see, Jorge introduces Daphne to his family and his sister is a Republican, one who campaigned for Coto and thought he could be the state's first Latin governor. But, with Daphne's blackmail, that isn't going to happen. But, Jorge read her blog posting and supports her in more ways than one. One way, besides the obvious, is supporting her lower back as he kisses her. Meanwhile, Campbell also gets to kiss Daphne, but with flashbacks of Jeff and that fiasco of messing with a guy who was engaged, much less Bay talking about what it is like to be cheated on, despite the feelings Daphne did have, that kiss made Campbell seem like a jerk.

In his defense though, things have changed since his accident, and while Gretchen has been a big help, there is that issue that she knew him before the accident, which adds a bit more depth to what he said in the last episode about hoping for a cure. For though he likely does, or did, love Gretchen, without being able to walk, and the other changes, likely their relationship isn't evolving like he may want, but seemingly is turning into the early stages of cancer. At this time though, it seems that despite breaking up with Gretchen, Daphne is on the Jorge train.

Topic 2: John, Bay, Angelo & Regina

All mentioned characters deal with jealousy in the episode. Starting with Angelo and Regina, with each of their respective business dealings, questions are formed. Angelo doesn't trust Wes and thinks Wes just wants to have sex with Regina then, to fire back, Regina questions Angelo's relationship with Barbara's daughter Christine. Leading us to see, despite how amicable they have become, old feelings of Regina maybe cheating, and Angelo finding himself a young girl and getting her pregnant, haven't really subsided. And, really, money is also a major issue. For, despite Angelo's talk about how his money is hers, neither one really communicates about spending it. Angelo's bills have made it where the money is starting to run low, and Regina buying the boutique maybe supported verbally, but financially it comes at an awkward time. And overall, it seems that communication between the two is bad, for their fights seem to be very tit for tat and based off a lot of things left unsaid, either about present issues, or issues of the past.

As for John, as usual he is jealous of anything, and anyone, which draws Kathryn's attention away from him. He wants to go to this republican thing in Nashville, but it comes during a time when Renzo is to go with Kathryn about a new book deal. So, John gets jealous and buys a motorcycle to show he can get new hobbies, like Kathryn has tap. But, in the end, his mid-life crisis, and tantrum, seems to come from him seeing himself as a one term senator for between Daphne, and losing his passion for politics, he sees this venture at its end. But, considering how often he comes at Kathryn in a childish manner, I'm not sure how long she may put up with it before trying to distance herself from him.

Lastly, there is Bay. With an e-mail from Ty, her mind begins freaking out, and then Emmett reveals he is dating someone. With this, as well as her application for college being due, she goes a little crazy. First, she stalks Emmett's new girlfriend Mandy, then asks a bunch of questions, and then kisses Emmett and wonders why he can cheat on her, but not with her. This leads to the type of conversation Angelo and Regina need to have, a serious heart to heart so that whatever the relationship may become, platonic or otherwise, it can function. So, Emmett talks about how he felt when it came to Bay talking about Ty, as well as him being sick of the guilt trip after he apologized about Simone. In return, Bay apologizes for the kiss, among other things, and tries to put the idea that Bemmet could possibly happen in the future, though considering Emmett has a girlfriend, this overall feels like a big tease.

Overall

I'm not fond of the Daphne love triangle, but considering Jorge's culture and the new perspective to things Campbell can bring, I am slightly for it. Also, seeing Campbell in puppy dog mode made me feel bad for him. Outside of that, Bay's issues I was glad was gone into, rather than just a tantrum and off we go, and overall I'm glad that there was quite a bit of character development when it came to the long- term relationships on the show as a whole.
