Everything is chemical

A little disappointing to see characters portraying scientists using completely unscientific - if not outright misinformation regarding GMOs while touting organic which in no way means pesticide-free & all natural that doesn't mean safe; ie. Arsenic is natural, snake venom is natural.

Not Stellar

The basic episode was OK. I did enjoy the nerdy guy watching the bully (who had just taken his lunch) eat human remains in the "beef" stew. The plot involves efforts to discover how it got there, why, and who put it there. We have a couple interesting characters introduced. A zombielike woman who does research for the company that produces the food. We have Oliver annoying everyone, although Cam can put him in his place. But ultimately, we have the bachelorette party where the five women end up at a biker bar and get into a fight with the patrons. They are absolutely loaded. We do know that Bones can defend herself quite well. The scene where she arrives home and Booth's efforts to settle her down, reminded me of some guys I hung out with in college.

"5 Shots of Alcohol Please"
briezey28 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, I am coming on here to talk solely about the bachelorette party (and maybe complain a little about Daisy and Oliver).

This episode gets a 10/10 because of the bachelorette party scene. I absolutely love that they are all dressed up in these ridiculous outfits. I LOVE that Caroline is there. The way that Bones just goes up to the bar and order "5 shots of alcohol" is simply incredible because it is the vaguest thing you can say at a bar. It is hilarious that they are making bets with people and walking away with all this money. It is no surprise to me that Daisy is into this rough biker crowd. And, of course, a bar fight ensues. The way Bones SMACKS that biker girlfriend was absolutely incredible.

Also, special shoutout to how caring Booth was towards Bones when she came home drunk. He was so compassionate and sweet, I think it was just such a nice moment.

As for my rant about Daisy and Oliver, we really got stuck with the two worst interns of the week. I have made my feelings about each one of these characters very apparent on other posts, so all I'll say is wow if it wasn't for the great bachelorette party, these two together would have made me bump my rating down to like a 5. I hope we never see them together again. I also hope that Oliver gets a better personality.

Best Part: Bones bouncing the knife between the spaces of her fingers at the bar while presumably intoxicated - very impressive (and dangerous!)

Worst Part: Any scene involving Daisy and Oliver in the same room together.

Are they in high school?

I felt like I was watching some kind of after school special. Angela was furious with Booth for breaking up the engagement. She was right to be, she's Brennan's best friend and she tried to protect socially awkward Temperance. I get it. But when Seeley became angry and offended it was too much for me. He must have known how it looked like him breaking up the engagement out of the blue(I was surprised that Brennan didn't want to leave him. I know it would be too complicated and it would take a lot of time to reunite them but it Brennan acted like she was this silly girl who depends on her man and tolerate everything : () It's understandable Angela was disappointed in him. She didn't know that it was because of Pelant (a little bit too much if you ask me). Booth should apologize for acting like this not be offended and angry at Angela. ***tiny spoiler regarding this episode*** And Brennan was asking him if she can have a bachelorette party with Angela? Really, I felt like I was watching a show about some high school kids.
