Nick Stokes grows a beard. The previous episode he doesn't have it. This episode he does.

The Mystery of Room 114

Nick, Finn and David Phillips arrive at the room 114 of the low-budget Sky View Motel to process Richard and Anne Smith, who were brutally murdered. Nick recalls a recently case in the same room and Finn remembers another recent case in the same room. Morgan retrieves the two other cases to compare them three. They find semen from Randall Wicks in the three cases, but he tells Greg and Brass that he works in that motel entertaining frustrated housewives. When the mathematics teacher Alison Stone is arrested for killing a student in room 114, she claims that she was possessed. Morgan concludes that the room 114 may be responsible for the changing of behavior of its guests and Hodges and Henry are assigned to investigate the room. Out of the blue, Hodges attacks Henry, who locks Hodges in the bathroom and calls asking for help. What is the mystery of room 114?

"Check In and Check Out" is an intriguing episode of "CSI". The mystery of room 114 is attractive and resolved when Hodges changes his behavior to attack Henry. I have never read or heard anything about LSD making users brutal. The hippie drug LDS affects the senses and thoughts and was usually used to increase perception. But increase violence is novelty for me. Nick Stokes finally returns to the show. My vote is seven.

Nick wasn't in the previous few episodes. It definitely lacks something without Nick for so long.
