Sex & Nudity

  • Boyfriend and girlfriend kiss.
  • While Jane Doe's breasts are exposed from the time the body bag is unzipped, they are sometimes in the form of CG or practical effects. Additionally, exposure of the pubic area is restrained. When the pubic area is shown in passing it is a blurry dark spot.

Violence & Gore

  • A severely burned man is examined and an autopsy is performed.
  • A girl is given an autopsy. Not shown in extreme detail, but still can be disturbing.
  • Miscellaneous cadavers are seen with varying amounts of physical mutilation.
  • A man is attacked by an unknown entity and results in the man having a cut on his head and bruises on his ribs.
  • Lots of gore. Opening a body, you see blood, chest cavity open, heart, lungs and craniotomy showing the brain. There are other dead bodies with various injuries.

Profanity

  • Infrequent strong profanity. "Fuck" (9x), "Shit" (5x), and "Goddamn" once.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Brian Cox is briefly shown lighting and smoking a cigarette. This one instance lasts about ten seconds.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The whole film has a very disturbing tone and features many scenes of strong horror.
  • It contains potentially frightening scenes of violence and threat.
  • The cat death scene could cause distress to some viewers.
  • The axe scene is particularly distressing and violent.
  • The whole movie is scary.

Sex & Nudity

  • A fully nude female corpse resurrects & terrorizes occupants with lengthy female nudity on display.

Violence & Gore

  • The family cat is found badly injured in an air duct. It is still alive, and suffering. Brian Cox's character twists and snaps its neck, putting it out of its misery. This causes distress for the father and son, but more so for the father, who asks to be left alone for a minute. The cat is subsequently cremated. This scene could be traumatic for cat lovers.
  • A man kills a woman with an axe by accident. Blood is seen on the ground and on the woman. The man immediately starts crying.
  • A man has his wrists and ankles broken and his lungs burned while he is still alive. He is then stabbed in the heart by a scalpel.
  • A man falls off a second-story balcony and hits his head. His bloody corpse is shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Jane doe is revealed to be a witch that's why there are scary illusions
