The stuff toy featured at the end of the movie was an actual gift from the director (Astha Saxena) to the little sister (Aakanksha Mahajan), given on the day of shooting as a birthday gift
Initially the movie was conceived as a comedy movie, a parody on horror movies, however, during the filming of this movie the director was extremely impressed by the realistic acting of the actors the the whole genre was changed.
The whole movie including the conception of the idea for the story to the final touches were done only in two months within 10 working days as the entire crew consisted mostly of regular college students hence they couldn't spare any more time. This accomplishment of finishing the filming in such a tight schedule is mentioned at the end of the credits.
Originally the script of the movie didn't consist of the Counsellor's character and those scenes were originally to be done by the psychiatrist (Tuhina Dedakia) instead, however due conflicting dates with Tuhina, she was unavailable and the new character was introduced and played by Vandana Arimardan as a last minute decision. However, the depiction of the medical treatment being given by a team of a psychiatrist and a counselors is medically correct.
The main four team members are classmates from the same college and close friends with a keen interest in film making.Mahajan was interested in a complex or a child like role with many layers to it while Goswami in a more sincere yet outgoing and stylish character.Dedakia wanted a learned person's character as well as be a part of the off screen crew. Saxena wanted a twisted character too like Mahajan however she want to direct the movie. The script was prepared with the aim to let everyone show their best performance in whatever they feel most comfortable with. Astha came up with the basic outline of the story and the scenes and tuhina wrote the script. All of this was done within one single day.
