Popular Marathi film and theatre personality Bharat Jadhav will now be seen in Kundan Shah's Hindi film P Se Pm Tak. The film is a story of a prostitute who goes on to become the Prime Minister.
Ask Bharat if there will be any vulgarity in the film and he says, "No, there's no vulgarity in P Se Pm Tak. It's a graph of a prostitute who goes on to become the Prime Minister. So her character speaks the language of a prostitute but it's not cheap."
Bharat will be seen playing a dead person in the film but is shown to be alive to the other characters. So is the film similar to Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (Kundan Shah's cult comic caper)? Clarifies Bharat, "No, it's not. In that film there was a still dead body. But in this film I'm dead but I also sing and dance.

She's been acting in South films since 2009 but it's now that actress Meenakshi Dixit will be seen making her Bollywood debut with Kundan Shah's P Se Pm Tak.
Ask her the reason for delay and she says, "I'm not late to join Bollywood. I've had my journey and I don't come from a film background at all. I come from a very simple professional family background. I just gave an audition because I thought I was a decent dancer. I did Nach Le Ve with Saroj ji. She was the first one who told me to be an actor and try for acting. That encouraged me to pursue acting."
She goes on to add, "But I was getting South Film offers before that. I was getting a chance to groom myself as an actor in every way with different languages and different directors. I needed to prepare myself to...

Long before Shah Rukh Khan became the reigning Badshah of Bollywood, the superstar had worked with ace director Kundan Shah (best known for his cult comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro) in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. And it was during the film’s shoot that the director was bowled over by Srk’s sweet gesture.
Recalling the incident, Kundan Shah – who is currently looking forward to his dark comedy P Se Pm Tak – shares that he had gone to a bookstore where he had liked a few books immensely. But when it came to billing, he realized that they cost a little over two thousand rupees, not a small amount back in the ‘90s. So, the filmmaker left the books, hoping to collect them at a later time. Later that day, at the shoot, he happened to recount what happened at the bookstore to Shah Rukh. And to his surprise, the very next day,...

Along with his work in Bollywood and in India, you have seen choreographer Longinus Fernandes’ work in Slumdog Millionaire in the ‘Jai Ho’ sequence and in Eat Pray Love among many others. Now Fernandes has brought his unique style and fabulous moves to the movies again for a special sequence in director John Madden’s The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. What makes it so special is that the choreographer worked with some of the best actors in the world including Richard Gere, Judy Dench, Maggie Smith, Lillette Dubey, and Dev Patel to name just a few and got them to dance to the Bollywood beat of the killer song ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’.
I was lucky enough to get the chance to do an email interview with Longinus about The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and more! Check out what he had to say about working on the film, getting...
