Kidnap for airline tickets
bkoganbing18 May 2017
What are the chances that a little girl who passes a note requesting help that it goes to an Assistant District Attorney, an ADA with the last name of Reagan too. But that's what happened to Bridget Moynahan and she calls in her brother Donnie Wahlberg for help.

It's a kidnapping that because of the girl's note is now no longer under the radar though it is discreetly handled. The kidnapper is one dangerous dude played by David Vadim of the Croation mob. The parents own a travel agency and he wants a pair of hit men to get tickets to the USA in exchange for the little girl, their daughter.

Vadim is dangerous and shrewd. What happens in the climax is proof of that.

A most exciting climax indeed.

Warning: Spoilers
What makes this show so good, episode after episode, is the sharing of inter-relationships as the family does their police work.

This excellent episode could have been called "Situations." Erin and her daughter, while dining for breakfast, discover that a little girl across the table has been kidnapped. Everyone involved are foreigners and to say that the culprit got what he deserved in the end is to put it mildly. What your traffic villains!

Danny's routine stakeout turns into something else when a guy enters the diamond store and demands a refund. Seems the bride has called off the wedding. How Danny deals with the inevitable hostage situation is terrific and when the groom-to-be later commits suicide by hanging in a jail cell, Danny temporarily loses faith.

Speaking of losing faith, the chaplain for the police starts drinking heavily when it's determined that a retired office, his friend, killed himself. In a poignant scene, Frank brings Danny together with the priest. They both need one another now.
