Cannibals on the Loose
Hitchcoc25 April 2018
This last episode ever involves people being dragged into the sewers and being disemboweled. Their remaining carcasses are found by the squad. This brings to light all manner of sick people. Investigations find that there is actually a gang down there at work. In this episode, Chandler gets more and more paranoid. He is a truly sick man who has no business doing what he is doing. His problems distract from the cases he is working on. If not for Miles, he'd be in an institution.

Really descended

This series began brilliantly, unputdownably. But as it went on it sank further and further into horror and stupidity. I will see it out, as I have got this far, and Phil Davis is terrific. I like Rupert Penry-Jones, but I agree with the previous reviewer that his sicknesses unfit him for service. I was irked enough by the new "Chief" on Death n Paradise for his general unfitness (and hope he gets replaced, as I would like to see that series run forever) but this one wrote its own death warrant.

What on earth am I watching

First seasons were very good, a detective show with an edge. Now it's gory cheap horror with absolutely no coherence. What a pity.
