Firstly, Emma tried to kill Ciro when she sent him to Spain, then she sent her son in a mission to get rid of him because she thought he was an impediment for the mafia organization. She wanted to be the new boss but she failed because she was not objective in her decisions, Emma decided to make her own rules in order to improve her authority over men and that was her mistake , because in the mafia world nothing is personal, it's just business, and that is what Emma doesn't understand . Genna is changed after he came back from his mission and he knew he was betrayed by his mom.

My favourite episode of Season 1

My overall rating of "Gomorra: La serie"'s Season 1: 6/10
This episode has it all: criminal scheming, action sequences born out of activity and wars of gangs, brutal naturalism, but also, the key component, that social insight or commentary into the toxic, corrosive nature of mafia influence and what might make regular, everyday people close their eyes to it or even indirectly participate. Donna Imma's growing prominence in the community is really interesting to see.
On the negative side, not everything is well-handled or well-filmed, but these are technical issues - to do with the wrapping and not the candy itself, and so very much forgivable.

The godmother.
Imma tries to survive among male people. She sent ciro to die but he survived in last episode.
We cant understand if she sent genna to be killed or to be imprisoned. But he came in the end. Like a monster, he killed the dog.
He is different now. He will be different.
I dont understand why ciro or others tried to find genna.
And savastano could use phone, so cant he do something?
This building, balcony scenes again reminded me "the wire". There was roof. Here, it is similar.
People in the apartments dont want cops there, they throw things to cops. Even they took criminals to their homes. There is a solidarity.
