"Longmire" A hard-boiled inspiring drama for the mature adult!
stpalmer20034 June 2014
I am absolutely all-in from "beginning to end"(C.J.) when it comes to Sheriff Walt Longmire. His character demonstrates as much wit and wisdom of Einstein. Robert Taylor has turned the tide and once again brought to the screen one of my favorite actors with that of a storm surge. He always plays His chess pieces with the precise moves of a Fisher. He attacks with the subtle clarity reminiscent of a Janssen and plays His role that of a real sheriff. Part of the plot in the first 2 seasons is a mystery of Longmire's wife's murder. Season 3 is no exception. "The White Warrior (2014)", continues the sinister mystery His wife's murder, who is behind the veil of corruption, as well as the multiplexed time related sequences, along with each related drama and conflict of the every day life of a Wyoming Sheriff's department, the local citizens, and an aggressive Cheyenne Indian Reservation's chief of police. Sheriff Longmire portrays a true professional manager when sorting through all of these conflicts. And still He maintains a host of loyal associates, family, and friends.

What a start to the new season!
This is the best show on TV IMO and seems to fly under the radar and not get the recognition it deserves. The hour flew by and left me wanting more, more more! This episode's was fast paced and brought back all the characters we love and love to hate including supporting players that we never seem to see enough of like Jacob Nighthorse, Mathias, Barlow Connolly and the beautiful NM landscape that stands in for Wyoming. We get some answers from the S2 cliffhanger but we also get introduced to more mysteries. That's what makes this show so interesting to watch. If you don't pay attention every minute you will miss a clue that will be important in a later episode. This show needs more episodes per season, are you listening A&E! 9 more this season will not be enough based on the quality of this episode. Such a shame that A&E doesn't even schedule an original lead in show for Longmire just a repeat of Criminal Minds. Shows A&E's lack of support but this show is so good it can stand on it's own and we fans are spreading the word about this show and hopefully the ratings will reflect how much those of us that have discovered it love it.

Tricks of the Mind?!
Hitchcoc19 December 2018
The first episode of the third season involves a trip to collect evidence. Branch is shot and if not for Walt, would have died. The thing is, he is shot by a man whom Branch claims is the same guy whose ashes he is collecting. In other words, the guy should be dead. Branch begins to hallucinate in the hospital. Longmire knows that Branch was drugged, but Branch insists he saw what he saw. There are lots of politics at work here and a real mystery that will carry easily into the second offering.
