The original Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was easily one of the worst films of last year, but based on its outrageous premise and low budget, it managed to turn a profit. That of course means a sequel, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, with all the usual claims of a bigger budget, more kills and better effects. Conspicuously absent were promises of a decent script or acting, however.
Taking place a year after the original, Blood and Honey 2 opens with the introduction of Owl, who looks more like a vulture than anything. He joins Pooh and Piglet in their fun and games, starting with the torture and killing of three scantily clad campers.

Principal photography has started on UK crime-thriller Rise of the Footsoldier: The Beginning, the prequel to the home entertainment hit Rise of the Footsoldier.
The five week shoot will take place in London and Marbella. This will be the third instalment in the franchise.
Returning cast members incldude Craig Fairbass (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare) who stars as Pat Tate as well as Terry Stone (Doghouse) as Tony Tucker.
The third instalment will also feature Happy Monday frontman Shaun Ryder as a prison inmate, Union J’s Jj Hamblett as a young Pat Tate and EastEnders actors Larry Lamb and Jamie Foreman.

UK distributor Signature Entertainment and UK sales outfit Carnaby International are teaming on two genre projects due to enter production this summer.
Rise Of The Footsoldier: The Beginning will act as a prequel to 2007 crime feature Rise Of The Footsoldier, charting the story of the Essex Range Rover murders and gang member Pat Tate.
The film will see the return of Craig Fairbrass (St. George’s Day) as Tate as well as Julian Gilbey (A Lonely Place To Die) who wrote and directed the original film as writer and producer.
