The Melbourne "Luna Park" Amusement Park really did exist. "Mr Moon" was the toothy entrance Phryne and Jack passed through to get to the roller coaster ride. Factually, "Mr Moon" existed as far back as 1912 when the park opened and sat opposite of "Palais Theater" back then as it did over 100-years ago.
The Red Roller Coaster with the twin Red Dragon Heads on the front that Jack and Phryne road is called "The Great Scenic Railway."
Factually, it is the second oldest Roller Coaster.
First ride was made in December 1912. At time "Deadweight" (September 27, 2013 ) was seen, the roller coaster was short of 101-years-old.

"Giorgos the Greek" was more than left upstairs in Miss Fisher's Boudoir flexing his enumerated wrestling poses. Phryne leaves down the stairs, converses with Inspector Jack Robinson who came only to declare she won their bet. Viewers may lose track, but "Giorgos the Greek" was left in her bedchamber as the two went off to ride a roller coaster.
This is/was the impulsive nature of Phryne Fisher.
