Claudia Donovan has no apparent 'Plan' in her existence, and seems to act purely out of some form of instinct, or as it appears to more from a knee jerk, reaction to events in her life.
Looking at her life in retrospect, her reaction to her brother Joshua's, personal predicaments was purely altruistic. And she had to then face the horrors, that resulted from the subsequent reactions, from a totally unfeeling world.
These occurrences are absolutely guaranteed, to screw up even the most well balanced of equilibriums.
Viewing some of the earlier childhood experiences, we can certainly see why, that may not be so in her case.
But does any of this explain her reaction to Steve Jinx? Did she relate to him as a surrogate brother figure?
Perhaps her reaction to her sister Claire is after all understandable, especially with regard to her earliest childhood reminiscences. But all of this still leaves me with the consideration, that in reality she still has some aspects, of her adolescence to work her way through.
