A good watch, but difficult too

I think it's an amazing movie in terms of the cinematography and storyline. All the scenes are beautiful to look at and it has a very interesting script; but somehow the atmosphere didn't settle. The religious connections didn't make a meaning and the amount of physcological content you need to deep dive to was too much for me. Overall I found it not up to par with the other Reha Erdem films. Still a good watch, but a difficult watch too. This still adds up to the good track record of Reha Erdem, who is one of the best Turkish auteur film makers. And one last line for amazon, please remove the 10line criteria in reviews. Thanks

I have just the movie at Toronto International Film Festival and found if fascinating. For the ones, who haven't seen the movie, I would suggest them to put together the movies "Cosmos", "Jin" and "My only Sunshine". This movie is astutely brings together a imaginative world of a few people and their tragedies in the wake of an evacuation because of an possible earthquake from Buyukada, Istanbul. I don't want to give any spoiler yet I have to say that this one is one of his best movies. Great acting. Fascinating links and shifts among nature, sickness, madness and sanity. For me it is the best Reha Erdem movie so far.
