"Deadpool & Wolverine" was so positively stuffed with Easter eggs, cameos, and the Merc with a Mouth's usual wanton hijinks that it's hardly surprising that some choice bits got left on the cutting room floor. Fans of specific characters might've felt a tad burned three months ago knowing that their favorite folks got short shrift on the big screen, but everyone should know by now that these moments will eventually be included at the very least as deleted scenes on the Blu-ray and digital releases, if not added in an extended cut. And when it comes to the "Deadpool" franchise, you have to know that star, co-writer and producer Ryan Reynolds cares deeply about how his movies play as a whole. His job is to make a great superhero film, not offer up unmitigated fan service.

Alert! For seven seasons, The Circlehas delighted us with catfishing shenanigans, costumed dance parties, and digital friendships that’ll last a lifetime. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried — and we screamed when Kevin and “Gianna” found each other in the influencer chat for the third time in a row. And through it all, our host Michelle Buteau has been there for us with witty one-liners and sarcastic reality checks. But what happened once the winners were crowned and #CircleFam left the chat? Ahead, the winners give us their status updates about life after the apartments.

“The Circle” Season 7’s top contestants delivered their final votes in the Netflix competition show’s season finale Wednesday.
It was an action-packed season, with the game’s new “disruptor mode” causing chaos — and finalist Madelyn putting herself in the record books as one of the series’ biggest villains yet. She left her competition stunned when they discovered how frequently she fully fabricated lies to take out other players and protect herself.
But while she made it to the top five — alongside “Gianna,” Kevin, “Rachel” and “Tierra” — she failed to take home the top prize. The winners: twin brother Jersey catfishes Nicky and Jojo Scarlotta, disguised within the game as Jojo’s girlfriend Gianna.

Who’s real? Who’s a catfish? And who can win over the most allies either way? Netflix’s reality competition “The Circle” is back with a new cast of competitors vying to win $100,000. Locked down in an apartment complex in Atlanta, Georgia, the contestants compete, connive and catfish through a shared social media platform — the Circle — in an attempt to charm the competition, stay in the top ranks and take home the big prize.
As usual, the lineup is full of all kinds of wildcard characters, who come from all over the U.S., so we’ve put together a handy guide to the Season 7 cast.

The Circle Season 7 is only one week away which means there is only one week until screens everywhere will say “Circle open Circle Chat.” Season 6 of the hit Netflix series aired in April of this year. Considering the plot twists of Season 6, big things are expected for Season 7.
AI In The Circle
Each season of The Circle has gotten more popular and more twists. Even though the show is in its 7th season, the show first aired just four years ago in January 2020.
Winners of The Circle range from being those true to themselves, catfishes, day one’s, and one of the newest people to enter the chat. Many of the people on the show have gone on to other Netflix shows such as Perfect Match, a reality dating show to find your perfect match.
There’s no way to predict anything that happens in The Circle, including who will enter the chat next.

Could Channing Tatum’s Gambit finally get his own movie in the MCU? Well, it’s hard to say — but Ryan Reynolds is certainly making it clear that he could, thanks to a new deleted scene from “Deadpool & Wolverine.”
Tatum tried for years to get a Gambit movie off the ground, but it never quite worked out. So, when he unexpectedly showed up in the “Deadpool” threequel, both Tatum and the fans freaked out. Tatum has since said that he “will owe [Reynolds] probably forever” for making it happen.
But now, Reynolds might be giving Gambit another push. In a post to X on Tuesday morning, the actor revealed a 20-second sequence of Gambit strutting through the carnage that he and his colleagues left behind at Cassandra Nova’s fortress in the void.
As he does, the camera pans up to his eyes and Gambit gives a knowing smile.

The Indiana Jones films have influenced and inspired video games for decades, namely the Tomb Raider and Uncharted series, which have become successful franchises in their own right. Oddly, there hasn’t really been a licensed Indiana Jones game that’s made a lasting impact, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could be the first game to capture the magic of the movies in the right way.
The preview footage of the game shown at the Xbox showcase in June highlighted that the game is very much aiming to stand alongside the films in scale and tone, with a dialogue-driven scene in which Indiana and his companion, Italian journalist Gina, get into a dicey standoff with the game’s antagonist, German archaeologist Emmerich Voss, and his henchmen as they vie for control over a mysterious relic. Message received: The Great Circle looks, sounds, and feels uncannily like an Indiana Jones movie.

Are you ready for a new batch of blind daters? Netflix is giving us a British version of the hit dating show Love Is Blind! The trailer just dropped for Love Is Blind UK, and it looks like things are about to get weird…in a good way.
Hosted by married couple Emma and Matt Willis, the show will follow the same crazy format as the US version. Thirty singles will try to find love without ever seeing what the other person looks like! They’ll chat in “pods” and hopefully form a real connection. Then, they’ll get engaged…all before laying eyes on each other for the first time outside the pods. Talk about taking a leap of faith!
Emma, known for hosting The Circle UK, kicks off the trailer by asking “Is love blind?” Her singer hubby Matt is also there to help guide people through this strange social experiment.

One fish, two films.
The massive 1975 hit Jaws will get a pair of documentaries to mark the 50th anniversary of the Steven Spielberg blockbuster. One of them, Jaws: Making a Splash in Hollywood, tossed chum in the water at Sunny Side of the Doc last week – looking for a bite from potential buyers at the documentary marketplace event in France.
News of that film, from distributor Newen Connect and directed by French filmmakers Olivier Bonnard and Antoine Coursat, comes just days after Deadline’s exclusive report that National Geographic has greenlighted another documentary about the movie, under the working title Jaws @ 50.

Chloé Persyn, head of factual distribution for Newen Connect, says the cinematic ocean’s big enough for both films.

In a bizarre experiment by a fan, players got to witness a new way to see the iconic character from Metal Gear Solid. A player decided to make a deepfake of this character with the face of his original voice actor, David Hayter, and the result was well-received by fans.
Additionally, players continued experimenting and tried Sam Lake, the creator of Max Payne, with Solid Snake’s body in the new remake, and they liked the result as well. Apparently, this crossover would be very well received. A remake of the popular Konami title is expected to arrive sometime this year.

In 2015, Netflix released the indie horror film Circle on its platform, and it instantly became the talk of the town due to its intriguing premise. It centers around a group of 50 strangers who awaken in a dark room to find out that they're being held captive and forced to participate in a deadly game. Faced with their imminent executions, they must choose one person among them to live.
It was written and directed by Aaron Hann and Mario Miscione and was inspired by the 1957 legal drama film 12 Angry Men. Michael Nardelli, Carter Jenkins, Lawrence Kao, Allegra Masters, Julie Benz, and many others starred in the movie.
Now, almost 10 years after its release, the horror flick has been announced to be getting a sequel. It's titled Circles, and two producers from the original film are back to make it. Those two producers are Nardelli, who also starred in Circle as sole survivor Eric,...

A decade ago, the writing and directing duo of Aaron Hann and Mario Miscione drew inspiration from the classic 1957 drama 12 Angry Men while making the sci-fi psychological thriller Circle, which ended up gathering a cult following after it was released through the Netflix streaming service. Now Variety has broken the news that Circle is getting a sequel called Circles, with the first film’s star Michael Nardelli (The Collection) coming back to produce the follow-up with Brent Stiefel.
If you need a refresher, Circle had the following synopsis: In a massive, mysterious chamber, fifty strangers awaken to find themselves trapped with no memory of how they got there. Organized in an inward-facing circle and unable to move, they quickly learn that every two minutes one of them must die… executed by a strange device in the center of the room. Variety reports that the upcoming sequel to Circle will be titled Circles.
According to the outlet, the sequel is “financed and entering production later this year.”

In 2015, Netflix acquired the indie horror film “Circle,” which saw 50 strangers trapped in a room and forced to decide who would be the one survivor through a series of votes and debates about the worth of each human life.
Nearly a decade later, with the “12 Angry Men”-inspired project having become something of a cult hit, two producers of the film have reunited to create a sequel, “Circles.” Per the official logline, “17 years after being pawns in a cruel game of psychological warfare, the survivors of an invasion face a new threat.”

Annecy International Animation Film Festival returns to the fold once more with its 2024 edition and, once again, Dn is here to recommend a selection of shorts that we had the pleasure of catching from the festival over the past week. As we’ve said in our previous Annecy roundups, the most exciting aspect of the festival is getting to see work the world’s leading animation film festival regards as worthy of its programme. Now, obviously that doesn’t mean the festival sees itself as superior to its animators, it just means there’s a high bar of entry, which makes the process of narrowing down the programme to a tight selection of ten shorts pretty tricky. In fact, there are a handful of excellent films left off this list as they have recently appeared in other Dn Best of Fest roundups including Circle and Kawauso from Berlinale, and Tennis,...

Mexico City has cultivated a reputation as a foodie’s paradise, with three of its restaurants — Quintonil, Rosetta, and Pujol — earning spots on this year’s World’s 50 Best list. And while a trip purely dedicated to fine dining makes a flight to Cdmx more than worth it, we’d argue that the city’s passion for art and design is equally as motivating. This is obvious in its hotels.

Short Documentary Review: Myanmar Anatomy (2023) by Prapat Jiwarangsan
Yangon Zoological Garden, Yangon Circle Railway and the Drug Elimination Museum are the focal point of this blend of documentary and essay. Jiwarangsan adds accounts of Myanmar activists and their struggle during the coups as well as their conflicts with the authorities which made it necessary for them to flee the country. Also, the images from the three locations are altered, using various illustrations of animals, their anatomy, their muscles and blood circulation, as well as various color filters. The effect is often remindful of a museum installation, but at the same time, especially in combination with the other elements, enlightening for the viewer, give more context to the scenes. My first concert ever was Sarah McLachlan at Radio City Music Hall in 1995. The Canadian singer-songwriter was on tour in support of her U.S. breakthrough, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, and had enlisted a then-unknown artist, Paula Cole, as the opening act despite protests from tour promoters, who claimed nobody would pay to see two women.
Of course, they were mistaken, and a few years later, McLachlan helped reimagine the touring music festival with the all-female Lilith Fair. She continues her mission to share the spotlight with other female artists on her latest trek, in celebration of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy’s 30th anniversary, with fellow Canadian Leslie Feist warming up the audience at the Hollywood Bowl last night as the marine layer rolled in and the temperature dropped.
After opening with a mini-set of popular hits and fan favorites from subsequent releases, McLachlan launched into a track-by-track performance of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.

Think about it: Can you name a recent series that gives off Dawson’s Creek, The O.C. or even Pretty Little Liars energy? Shows that offer incredible melodrama, characters you simultaneously love/can’t stand and baffling storytelling choices in a high school setting? Not considering the supernatural ones — if only because their scope tends to reach too far beyond high school — we can count this type of all-engrossing youth drama on one hand.
