Roller Coaster Crash
bemyfriend-4018430 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Tense, twisting roller-coaster ride. Great linear story, up to the end. Trusted friends turn out to be betrayers, or are betrayed. And our heroine turns out to be a butt hole. A liberal dose of misandristic feminist messaging. Gets five stars for the story, until the Taxi Driver style end. Seen on Tubi, the free streaming site; with many other indies.

Really good!
BandSAboutMovies14 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Roxy is an exotic dancer is stalked by a man who won't leave her alone until she agrees to stop being a dancer, which causes her to lose everything in her life that she ever cared about. Pretty much every man - with the possible exception of the bouncer - is a horrible person and our heroine has to figure out a way to simply survive.

I expected this movie to be a quick and cheap stripper movie and ended up watching a movie that was well directed and filmed that built some genuine tension throughout. Writer/director Jason Rosenblatt has been making shorts since this movie, but I'm really interested in his next full-length attempt.

Check it out for yourself and see a film that tells the story of the control of dancers on stage and the control that men try to exert upon them.

Viciously boring

Cute little film class project, I guess.

The plot is boring and makes no sense. Characters have emotionally strong reactions to situations that weren't fleshed out, so the whole thing just seems comical at best.

It makes an attempt at a "deeper" plot but by the time it even gets there, you'll have long since checked out.

At every single turn, the question is, "Who cares?"

The score is corny and predictable. "Sad" music doesn't make a ridiculous conversation serious. It just makes it dumber.

A few incredibly lame attempts at leftist rhetoric. I don't know, something about "white guys have it like this but black guys have it like that" or some such nonsense.

Not even the naked chicks can save this.

God knows why I sat through this.

Not just another Stripper show
MovieGuardian11 March 2021
What I thought was going to be another cheesy striper film actually had a good story behind it. Well directed, and great acting by the cast and crew. It is definitely worth watching.

Way Better Than Expected
perfectx-7141511 May 2021
Expected a crappy stripper movie and got half decent thriller instead. While it definitely made cheaply, it's made competently. This movie gets pretty dark sometimes and could actually make a pretty good argument for someone not to become a stripper. Overall Good directing, damn good performances, and most of all hot strippers!

Solid movie with a unique story and compelling cast of characters
mfoxartist3 October 2023
This was a terrific little film that managed to do a lot with a limited budget. Sure, there were a few tropes sprinkled throughout, but all things considered it remained very entertaining. For a movie about a stripper, it didn't go overboard with the nudity and the director usually placed the drama before titillation.

The main cast of actors were all pretty solid across the board and accomplished a very naturalistic tone for the film. There were enough twists and turns to keep the pace moving along, and a few heartbreaks that were rather upsetting.

I'll tell you, if all men were judged by the patrons of this strip club, we'd all be lower than vermin. I had a girlfriend who worked at a strip club, and while there were a few bad apples, most customers were not as horrible as these guys.

The stripper-who's-going-to-law-school is one very tired trope, but I'll forgive the movie for that one since they spun a fairly unique movie out of it. I thought the ending...that comes after the "ending"...was really great. She knew exactly what to say, but we'll just have to use our imagination.
