The acting was on point, Nina had to play three characters and handles it and makes it look effortlessly flawless, Paul Wesley was both Silas and Stefan in scenes and again top level acting skills from everyone, overall the episode was really great too, its story although a bit confusing on some levels but it clears up, fantastic episode and awesome characters

SECRETS OF THE PAST - When Elena and Katherine have the same dream that Stefan is in danger and desperately needs their help, they convince Damon to help them find Stefan. However, their plans are thwarted by a mysterious young woman named Tessa who seems to know everything about Stefan's history. In flashbacks to a distant time and place, Tessa reveals the shocking secrets in her past and what she has planned for the future. She also has a disturbing message for Damon about his own future. Silas forces an unwilling accomplice to help him search for Katherine, leading to a confusing and life-threatening situation for Matt. Finally, Silas reveals the reason he's determined to find Katherine, and Damon and Elena face a disturbing new reality.

OMG The Vampire Diaries is becoming more and more Interesting..All I can say is this series has Outdone itself..The Episode Original Sin was One of the Most Beautiful Episode of the Series, like Ozmandiyas in Breaking Bad therefore i am writing a Review about it..I Love this TV Series..Most of People have recently finished Breaking Bad and now hey have no worth watching Series..If you haven't watched a single Episode of TVD You Should definitely go for it..You'll become a die hard fan of not Only just TVD but its Cast and Episodes..The Cast of TVD is Outstanding..Ian and Nina are my favorite..The Vampire Diaries is a perfect TV Series..It has Thriller, Romance, Comedy, Mystery and many other genres..I usually don't do spoiler reviews so I am not gonna talk about Original Sin..You should definitely go for it..You'll love TVD Acting, Cast,Story, Script, Characters, Quotes and Almost Everything..You will never ever get bored..The Summary "Because You are my Life" is quote from this Episode..I liked it so I thought it would be good..Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) is the most interesting and lovable Character..His acting is perfect. .I know my English is not that good but I really really wanted to write review on my one of favorite Series so that's why I am sharing my love of TVD for you guys..This is my first review on The Vampire Diaries ..Hope you guys like it, but I m Sorry I don't know who you people are !

Granted, the Vampire Diaries is a series that relies heavily on a constant bombardment of plot developments, counting on maintaining an almost permanent suspension of disbelief - and it does so remarkably well most of the time, but in this episode, I thought some things got a little out of hand, creating some inconsistencies that were too nagging for a pedant like myself. Case in point: Qetsya (least ancient Greek name ever, by the way) tells Damon how the Stephan and Helena doppelgangers keep meeting and falling in love throughout the centuries because they are destined to be together and so on. Arguably this would imply the two star-crossed doppelgangers have been born and have met repeatedly at several points in history - obviously being born at the same periods. Except 3 seconds of thought remind us that: 1. Stephan has met two of them, neither of which was born in his natural lifetime 2. He didn't end up with Katherine at all. So much for "they always fall in love" 3. Katherine also died without ever meeting her contemporary Stephan equivalent, in fact the love of her human life was Elijah - nor did she ever meet any other later doppelganger Stephans, aside from him, in the course of 6 centuries. And it took 500 years for another her to appear (arguably if there had been one in between Klaus would have found her), so the Stephans and Helenas don't even line up - and aren't nearly enough to make a decent sample if in 1000 years only two have shown up. There is something to be said about how this ties up (or not) with the whole Klaus story, but this would require more than 3 seconds of thought, so they can get away with it.
Also, another thing that I really couldn't stomach - Qetsya and Silas' story takes place in ancient Greece. How in the name of minimum reason did she bury him in North America, apparently just a few hours away from Mystic Falls? Yes, I know, all of this can be answered with "who cares" or "magic", but it still bothers me.

Elena wakes up from a bad dream of Stefan suffering without his daylight ring in front of a bar whose owner he's bitten. Damon rolls to face her in bed and groans. Katherine comes in and tells them she had the exact same dream.
Damon went to go find bars named Joe's on the route that Katherine said. They are going to take a road trip to see these bars. Katherine calls shotgun because she gets dizzy sitting in the back due to being human - no wonder she looked flawless before in any dire situation - she was a vampire. They go to the bar where Damon compels the owner to tell them what happened to her neck. The Czech traveller comes and takes Katherine. Elena says she will go after Katherine - Damon tells her to kiss him beforehand. Damon finds the place where Qetsiyah and Stefan are. Qetsiyah, aka Tessa, tells Stefan how she made an immortality spell for Silas and her on their wedding day. Silas wears a Greek toga and Qetsiyah smiles up at him from the fountain she is sitting on like a goddess. She has made a splendid garden wedding but saw the plants dying. She realized Silas took the elixirs. She found out he took it with her handmaiden - Amara. Tessa watches as Silas pulls away the cover on Amara's face slowly. She looks beautiful. Silas goes back to the tents where Tessa is sitting in front of. She has killed Amara by giving her the cure to immortality and taking out her heart. Tessa says she has seen doppelgangers over the centuries meet each other and fall in love.
