A fascinating exploration of medical marijuana laws in California and their effects on Humboldt County. The interviewees all had insightful commentary that helped to explain the benefits and drawbacks of marijuana grows which the people of Humboldt County experience. They all seemed to be genuine community members who are motivated by a love of Humboldt County. The layout of the movie frames the issue in an accessible way to those who might lack a familiarity of the nuances of medicinal marijuana. The fruitless and often wasteful efforts of law enforcement agencies receive their due mention. The videography is excellent. The scenery depicted is beautiful and presents Humboldt in a beautiful and representative light.
