When Leona is chewing out Will the position of the table cloth changes repeatedly. Sometimes it centered and sometimes its almost falling off the table.
The night the Genoa story airs (Sun., 9/9/12), Will is shown watching a college football game between UCLA & Cal. However, UCLA & Cal did not play one another in 2012 until October 6. Further, the footage being shown on the screen is actually from a game being played on 11/4/06.
Will states that the Space Shuttle Challenger accident occurred due to the O-Rings failing at a low temperature (below 40 degrees) and allowing pressurized hydrogen to escape. The O-Rings were part of a solid rocket booster (SRB) assembly, and contained a solid propellant, not a liquid propellant, like the main tank did. While true that the O-rings allowed the high pressure gas to escape, it was a byproduct of the solid propellant combustion, and not a gas stored in the booster. The propellant in the SRB is made up of ammonium perchlorate (an oxidizer, 69.6% by weight), aluminum (the fuel, 16%), iron oxide (a catalyst, 0.4%), a polymer (PBAN, serving as a binder that held the mixture together and acted as a secondary fuel, 12.04%), and an epoxy curing agent (1.96%).
MacKenzie discovers that the raw material of the interview has been tampered with by looking at the shot-clock of the basketball game in the background. However: any cut in the raw material would have immediately been visible through jumps in the image of the basketball video itself, it would clearly jump because that sort of image is continuously changing. The image does jump but the clock is what confirms it .. this is the same thing.
