This could be successful in the Soviet Union if it continued. Very specific humor for these edges. Sherlock, Captain Vrungel and much more was shown to us, some local animfimy

Warning: Spoilers
"Sledstvie vedut Kolobki" is a Soviet mini-series that started back in 1986. It consists of 4 episodes of under 5 minutes and runs for approximately 20 minutes as a consequence. Today, I believe the only aspect is really to watch this in one sitting as it is still really short of course despite being aired back then in several showings. The film is about a criminal who steals a rare zoo animals and the brothers Kolobki show up to solve the crime. In fact, this is a decent plot, on which they could have built an entertaining little film, but it's really nothing of that. First of all, the animation is not too good and looks much older than from the 1980s and, apart from that, the films lacks love to detail entirely, which made it a really boring watch for 20 minutes even. I give it a thumbs-down and I am baffled by the high rating here on IMDb. This is worse than what other Soviet filmmakers (also in animation) made several decades earlier. Don't watch.
