Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 13: Iranian film "Parviz", directed by Majid Barzegar, bagged the Golden Crow Pheasant Award for the best feature film at the 18th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (Iffk) that ended here Friday.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who also holds the cinema portfolio, gave away the awards to the winners.
The best film has a cash prize of Rs.15 lakh (approximately $30,000) and is shared equally between the director and the producer of the film.
Bangladeshi director Kamaleswar Mukherjee bagged the best director award for his film "Meghe Dhaka Tara".

Apur Panchali (Apu’s Song) is a real-life story inspired by Subir Banerjee, the child actor who played the iconic role of Apu in Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali.
