Enjoyable Cheesy Fun
mryanpp29 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Not too sure why there's so many negative reviews for this.

Sure, it's cheesy, sure it's low budget with no special effects and sure, the acting is questionable at times.

But come on, this is exactly what we need on a Sunday night. Mindless, cheesy fun.

Colton Shaw is a 'rewardist' (his words, not mine) who tracks missing people in his truck and trailer in return for the offered reward money.

He gets in a few scrapes and his trailer goes a rocking now and then (hey, he's a good looking guy).

Quite reminiscent of some of the 80s shows like MacGyver and Walker Texas Ranger etc...

Look, this isn't going to win any Emmies but like I said, it's fun. And mindless.

8/10.

The Rewardist
sunnylifed1 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
First, I only see two reviews and none are negative. I would like to add I have a very positive view of this new show starring Arrow!! Always clean cut and well dressed.

Second, wonder why it's not called The Rewardist. (spell check came up).

*** Spoiler follows *** Now, as for this episode. Why did that Winslow family treat newcomers so badly when they said they were building a "resort town" for vacationers. The family's reputation did not match with their reasons for being.

The other episodes have a few pieces of information left out as well, but all in all, great concept and excellent acting.

Looking forward to the next iteration of this great new show.

Hartley is just the right kinda broken to be sizzling.
immscanon26 February 2024
Hartley shines in this role being sexy af/charming without trying, smart/clever without boasting, badass without ego, and just the right amount of broken to make you root for him, help him, and bandage him up. Good show premise and a thoroughly enjoyable show that isn't always as easy to figure out as most. Some twists in there that are welcome. The ensemble cast is fun and well cast from the spunky lawyer, the cyber sidekick and the adorable ladies managing him with their menagerie of pets. Still some good questions to reveal like what'll happen when he finally talks to his brother and where is his sister? Lots more to discover. Great show!

Should Have Quit After Two
Hitchcoc29 April 2024
All I can say is I gave it a chance. It's just like a thousand other shows with a hunky mysterious guy doing his job. The plots are so ordinary and so unsophisticated that one literally dozes. The camera angles are there to show the guy is harboring all this pain. Also, like so many of these guys, when things get confused, all he has to do is call a couple people and they can immediately come up with answers. His computer guy is beyond belief. It takes him about two minutes to trace down a person with a name used by a hundred thousand people. Other wise Coulter would have to sit in his trailer all day waiting. I'm surprised how weak this is when I saw all the hoopla after the Super Bowl. Oh well, file it away with a whole bunch of others.

Unrealistic plot twists
armandocamacho31 March 2024
Series started right but it moved really fast into some unrealistic plot, such as recovering evidence in a super secure place and there is no security to protect the important evidence.

It was extremely easy to solve the problem and get away with it, this series could have a great potential but the script seems to be more focused into build the crescendo rather than making sure the end is conmensurable with the story.

There are some interesting details about main character history and they seem to be interlaced, they explore that and is a good point.

In the other hand some details are a bit random and with little relevance.
