To begin with, I got my hopes up on Skin's Pure, because Cassie is the most unpredictable and well-written character in Skins, but when Pure Part 1 aired, I was disappointed of how boring and pointless it was, it didn't feel like skins at it. I was so hoping that the mysterious stalker would turn out to be Sid, and that would be a surprise for the viewers. Instead, it turned out to be some new character we do not really care about.
However, as Pure Part 2 aired, I did not expect much since I was disappointed by Part 1, but somehow, the episode kept getting better and better. The broken-hearted father, and the cute little brother who have grown up. This feels like real life. The cinematography is extra magnificent, as the night club feels like one of those Skins' usual parties, well, it's not. People dance as Cassie's pictures create a beautiful atmosphere. This episode showed everyone the beauty of Hannah Murray.
This beauty is not only visually stunning, but also profound and you can feel outbursts of emotions packed in 47 minutes. You can feel that you are watching Skins. That usual Skins' feeling mixed with tears of joy. After watching this episode I was like, "seriously, who needs Sid?" for he has always been a bad boyfriend and Cassie can do better. The last seen shows that Cassie is no longer that weird teenager with eating disorder who cannot even take care of herself. She is a grown-up who can look after her little brother and who can manage to live alone in a big city. Yes, Cassie, "everything is good."
