When Henry hears a man making a proposition about killing his wife, he decides to volunteer for the job (of course, he's doing it to save the woman). But what happens is a series of threats to people, involving their worth. The woman in question is put under surveillance. Meanwhile, some guy named Ed, who is from Vic's past, shows up in town and they meet. There is bad blood between them, but we don't know what this is all about. We are introduced to a subculture of young people who hang out at the freight yards, traveling around on departing trains. One of the delights of this show is the relationship between Henry and Longmire. They have a sort of sixth sense.
