REFLECTION

Warning: Spoilers
Fantastic episode .

Just what was required for things to slow down and reflect .

The back story was wonderful to watch .

The transition was great to witness .

Even the Great Harvey Specter was a human like all of us .

So many similarities b/w him and Mike Ross .

PS : The plot twist was worth it . I wonder why Stephen did it ? Due to Donna ? Or He never wanted Harvey to climb in the first place and all of that was a bluff ? Or He was backed by Jessica after all ?

Louis rules this ep

Warning: Spoilers
Frankly this whole Hessington oil thing is boring and confusing to me. I really don't care at all about it. It's made Harvey and Jessica enemies, which I think is stupid.

Louis and the cat are golden though. I like Louis now. He has a crazy soft spot for the cat and Rachel, which is kind of adorable. He went from being a jerk to being genuinely funny and not just the butt of jokes.

Now I have to type works to meet the character count that I don't understand. Now I have to type works to meet the character count that I don't understand. Now I have to type works to meet the character count that I don't understand.

Necessary Episode

I found this refreshing. Other than trying to make the characters look younger in the flashbacks, we are give a host of explanations for the present actions. Mike and his buddy, the jerk, get into a poker game. It is a setup and they are taken to the cleaners. He helps his friend by supplying a young woman with assistance for the LSAT. We are introduced to Donna who seems very strange. We see Harvey as a sycophant to Cameron finally getting on his own two feet. We also have some real time stuff as the murder case begins to be in the offing. We also have another humorous view of Louis as he prances around, doing his very strange thing.

for die-hard fans only

Really a clinic in why you should never tamper with a formula that works.

My many other SUITS reviews make it clear I am a fan and that this series is generally so sharp you cut yourself if you get too close to the screen.

But this episode, more an experiment than a episode, is for the fans only. Because if you were not a fan before, and this was your first exposure to the series, it is unlikely you would ever become a fan.

For those still reading this review, not yet monkey-hammering the NOT USEFUL button, here is where they departed from the tried and true formula:

1. Massive use of flashbacks in a show that almost never uses them at all. They are terrible. Changing hairstyles to reflect the passing years is a terrible idea. The arcs that the flashbacks are illustrating were not worth the time in the first place. (If you REALLY want to see how flashbacks can destroy a show, go to ARROW)

2. High testosterone. Markle's agent must have had a field day with the numbers produced by this episode -- it showed how important she had become to the DNA of the series

3. No lawsuit -- the same wizards who voted for the flashbacks also decided hey, just because it is a legal show, who needs a legal arc? So we end up with the characters wandering around like lost children in a department store with no conflict to handle.

Ugh
