Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The unpleasant effects of Motor neuron disease / amyotrophic lateral sclerosis are a central part of the storyline. The deterioration of Stephen's body is clearly and accurately portrayed, and his near-death from pneumonia, and the tracheotomy that followed, are portrayed as well. This can all be intense.
