A dysfunctional family struggles to make the mark.......

Boomerang Family is a gentle film about family ties and of course reconciliation.

The film follows the daily life of a dysfunctional family as the three siblings move back in with their elderly mother. Some of them are carrying dark secrets that will see the light of day, and then the big question is, whether the family will stay together.

The title itself, Boomerang Family refers to the boomerang generation, a western concept of young adults who move back home to co-habitat with their parents with various level of dependency. The compassionate mother, despite her offspring antics, demonstrates a maternal dedication and you will be moved.

Boomerang Family starts promising when it introduces the various characters in the film. You will love the chemistry among the siblings and their invectives, screams & punches will make you laugh.

Towards the end, the film goes little off the rails but tries to wrap everything pleasantly which is corny. However, it has its moments and at the ends it describes the bond shared among the members of the family.

Endearing family drama

Enjoyable family movie with nice reveals and little twists along the way to help keep things interesting. They fight but are there for each other when it counts. The characters are funny and endearing and the way their little squabbles escalates is quite hilarious. I like the famous cast who will be familiar to most K drama watchers.

I'm getting more and more involved from the beginning to the end.

I don't know what's wrong. I'm getting more and more involved from the beginning to the end. Ordinary noisy and depend on the mother to maintain together a family, slowly melting each other's ice. Besides, the chicken porridge at the beginning really makes me want to cry. Someone never needs you to perfunctory.
