- A character lights up a flare and it is revealed that three sharks are circling them in the dark.
- '47 Meters Down' revolves around two sisters, Kate and Lisa, who go on a shark dive. A mishap causes their shark cage to fall to the sea floor, trapping them in the depths with a ravenous shark.

Violence & Gore
- A character goes to rescue the girls but is attacked and eaten as he meets with one of them. Blood is seen in the water and she sees his dead body shortly after.
- A character pulls her leg out from being trapped by the cage and the metal scrapes her skin and leaves a long, bloody wound.
- A shark is seen attacking a girl's leg and tearing into it. A lot of blood and flesh can be heard tearing.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A character is eaten by a shark as a jumpscare and his dead body shows up again as a jumpscare.
- The cage is almost brought back to the surface but the rope breaks and it goes crashing back down to the bottom. One of the girls leg's becomes caught and trapped by it.
- One of the girls is trapped by the cage and begins running out of air with an oxygen tank just out of reach.
- One of the sisters is seen getting attacked by the shark in front of the other sister.
