Is there life on other planets ? I'm probably an agnostic on the subject . Scientists say as a statistical possibility there is almost certainly life on other planets " There's X amount of planets in our Galaxy alone and if only a small per centage of these planets were capable supporting life that would mean statistically not only would there be X amount of planets with intelligent life then many of these planets would have civilisations far more advanced than our own . There is however no scientific proof of any of this" . It's interesting how so many of these statements from scientists have an almost identical phrasing almost as if they're literally singing from the same scientific hymn book which leads me to believe it's a meme combined with wish fulfillment . In the words of Ali G "keep it real" and don't build up any hopes and put our faith in to statistical possibilities

You might like to know that the fastest vehicle in human history is the Voyager spacecraft which travels at 70,000 miles an hour which is a literal snail's crawl compared to the spaceships we're used to so you're able to see the near impossible challenge facing humanity if it wants to cross the stars of the universe . This is pity because the Kepler spacecraft can discover as many as two new planets every day . The documentary does mix scientific fact with fleeting speculation as to how life if it did exist might be like , But it's a documentary that concentrates more on planetary conditions rather than bug eyed monsters readying themselves to take over our world .
