Third episode out twelve and the level never drops. Live Another Day is being a fantastic comeback to Jack Bauer and a truly high quality season. This time, the episode highlight for me was the initial development over Margot Al-Harazi. Michelle Fairley is fitting in 24 legacy as one of most promising villains of Bauer as her personal story and her targets for revenge gave me shivers. Maybe since Nina Myers or Mandy any woman looked so brutal or sadistic. Although this time she attacks through drones.
The rest of the performances are very strong and the script continues to deliver in a very satisfying and addictive way. Kiefer Sutherland is the man of the show. The locations in London are being more exposed than in the beginning as the subway is the one of the main spaces in which the episode reaches the highest tense moments.
Maybe the "more of the same" feeling and desperate will to see the next installment not just for entertainment but to complete characters arcs and possible flaws of story in this one are the main reason to not to give a perfect score. But this is being a terrific event for the show. This is the answer to all my complaints four years ago. And just I hope the show continue to deliver in this way until the very ending. Because in that way, Live Another Day would deliver an impressive ending to the high octane saga.
