Sex & Nudity

  • A woman and a married man start undressing to have sex with each other but they're interrupted. Intended as comical, and no nudity.
  • A woman watching a rugby match from the sidelines appears to disrobe in order to make a scene and get a reaction. You only see from the shoulders up. For a few moments you get the impression she is naked and the rugby players are distracted by her and the crowd is shocked. As the camera zooms out it appears she is in fact wearing a strapless dress.
  • Mother/daughter dressmakers take a man's measurements. He strips down to just his boxers. The scene plays out with some sexual tension as both the mother and daughter try not to be distracted by their attraction to the young half naked man who is on display prominently in the scene.
  • A husband gives his wife a liquid sedative, and (without her consent or knowledge) once she's completely passed out he proceeds to spread her legs to have sex with her. There is no nudity, and the scene is very short, but it's definitely clear as to what's happening.
  • There are some scenes of intimacy featuring passionate kissing, but with no further development.
  • Occasional crude and sexual references, but mostly in a light hearted comedic tone.

Violence & Gore

  • A boy's murder is referenced and/or discussed throughout. They do eventually show what happened, at the end of the movie. Nothing gory.
  • A young girl is slapped hard by a woman and is physically and verbally bullied by others.
  • A woman slices a mans achilles tendons. Blood is seen spilling on the ground.
  • A man rapes a woman. No nudity is shown but the situation is abrupt and comes out of nowhere.
  • There are a few instances of violence, though most of them relate to spoilers.

Profanity

  • In flashbacks, a young girl is repeatedly told she is a slut. As an adult she is repeatedly told the same. She is also told that she is a bastard.
  • (Deleted. Personal opinions about ratings are not appropriate for the Parents Guide.)
  • There are 2 utterances of the expletive 'fuck' in the film.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man drugs a woman then later rapes her (not shown): As she falls asleep he takes his pants off and goes on top of her, and that's when the scene cuts.
  • The film contains some verbal references to drugs. A woman repeatedly steals a man's flask from inside his jacket. We see her chugging from it, or pouring from it into a glass.
  • For example, in one scene, it is revealed that a character has been consuming hashish cakes unknowingly. However, these are just passing references.
