The Perfect Boy is a 10-minute narrative short about Daisy, an idyllic and romantic perfectionist searching for perfect love. We open in her picturesque bedroom as she scrolls through dating apps, growing more frustrated over time. In a full-blown manic state, Daisy compiles all of her favorite things (tea, wine, her comfiest sweatpants, etc) in an attempt to "make" her perfect boy. To her and her grounded and sarcastic roommate, Emily's dismay, it worked. It's alive. He's alive. Chaos ensues as word gets out about Daisy's mysterious new ability - women swarm the house, demanding their own perfect boys. As Daisy and Emily struggle to keep the desperate women at bay, Daisy's Perfect Boy breaks up with her. By this time, the women have transformed into literal zombies, giving Daisy, now a fully raw and unfiltered woman, the opportunity to throw him out the door, for the zombie women's delight.
